STEMng Digest: Week 4
Welcome to the fourth edition of STEMng, a weekly publication where we present all the articles published by Nigerian stem authors on the hive blockchain for the past week. STEMng in itself is a sub-community of stemsocial, a community on the hive blockchain that is dedicated to support, promote, and curate stem-related posts.
This past week sees further improvement in the number of published articles by Nigerian stem authors. A total of twelve articles were posted as opposed to ten that were posted the previous week. However, the twelve articles were posted by 6 unique authors as opposed to seven that we had the previous week. This represents an improvement in terms of production and not in terms of participation. We will continue to work towards the goals and objects of the community and hopefully, things will continue to improve as time goes by.Below are the various stem-related articles posted by the Nigerians and their respective authors this last week. These articles either have been supported by stemsocial or in the queue for support.

Top pick for the week
You will agree with me that there were several awesome articles to choose from if our audience decides to go through all the above list. It was really a challenging adventure trying to select the top pick for this week. However, a winner has to emerge and our top pick for this week is an article authored by a new veteran in the community. We decide to call him a new veteran because this is the first time the author will be posting stem article since the birth of hive. Let's give it up for Superfetation; an extremely rare occurrence by @pearlumie.
Have you ever witnessed a situation in which a set of twins is given birth to days or even weeks apart? If yes, do you what could be responsible for this abnormality? Just go ahead and give the above a read. You will enjoy and learn at the same time.
###Contest ideas
We promised to release an article about a new contest for the community in last week's digest. Unfortunately, we were not able to fulfill this promise due to circumstances beyond our control. We think it is better to seek input from the community about the kind of contest to throw out. We are ready to throw up to 100 hive to the contest. Feel free to share ideas with us in the comment section on how we should go about it.
Support us
Support stemng/stemsocial activities on the hive blockchain through one (or more) of the following

- Support through delegation to @steemstem account or just following its trail on hive.vote.
Till next week, hive on!
The contest initiative sounds really great.
In this regards, I will suggest that a particular topic be picked by the hosts/ judges and then participants writing on it.
Thanks for the suggestion, let's wait and see the opinions of others. How do you think the 100 hives should be shared? How many winners?
3 winners would do...
First position - 50
Second - 30
Third - 20
This would be a great idea.
Congratulations @stemng! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
You can view your badges on your board And compare to others on the Ranking
