Canon EOS M50 - Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USDOne year ago, I made my last post on STEEM, it was a rebblog of the post in French that I had written with my account @frech-tech announcing the creation of HIVE.
At the same time, I powered down and sold all my STEEM and today I have no regrets about doing it, no matter what price it reaches. I also fully assume the fact that I sold 4,500 of my HIVE at that time when the price was incredibly high. All of this allowed me to enjoy myself by buying many things (as cameras, lenses...) and to make a ROI about the STEEM I bought at $2 when I arrived on the blockchain.
HIVE had been around for only a few days when the French community laRuche was created as well as a Discord server, managing at the same time to federate all the existing French curation teams. Then at the beginning of April, @wackou offered an extremely great gift to the @laruche team, a delegation of 100 000 HIVE for the curation of French posts.
Within a year, I wrote 26 posts with this account, 43 with @frech-tech & @mintrawa which makes one post every 5 and a half days. Starting in July 2020, I also invested quite a bit in HIVE, since this date I have already purchased over 18,000 HIVE in total.
Il y a un an, je faisait mon dernier post sur STEEM, c'était un rebblog du post en français annonçant la création de HIVE que j'avais écrit avec mon compte @frech-tech.
Dans la foulé, j'ai Power Down et vendu mes STEEM et n'ai aucun regret aujourd'hui et ce quelque soit le prix où il monte. J'ai aussi vendu 4500 de mes HIVE lorsque le prix a pas mal pumpé et n'en ai aucune honte. Tout cela m'a permis de me faire plaisir avec entre autre pas mal d'achat de matériel photo et de largement récupérer mes STEEM acheté à $2 lors de mon arrivé parmis vous sur cette blockchain.
Cela faisait à peine quelques jours que HIVE existait quand la communauté FR laRuche fût créé ainsi qu'un serveur Discord, réussisant en même temps à fédérer toutes les teams de curation FR existantes auparavant. Puis début Avril @wackou offrit un extrêmement beau cadeau sous forme de 100 000 HIVE délégué à la team @laruche.
En un an, j'ai écris 26 posts avec ce compte, 43 avec mes autres comptes (@frech-tech & @mintrawa) ce qui fait un post tout les 5 jours 1/2. A partir de Juillet 2020 j'ai aussi pas mal investi dans HIVE, en fait aujourd'hui j'en suis déjà à plus de 18 000 HIVE d'achetés.

I never had in 3 years of presence on this blockchain such a wonderful feed and saw so many authors of great talent coming. All the hate I had at the time of STEEM seeing shit posts having large rewards is gone (even if there are some left, but they are so much a minority) all this, in part, due to the amazing work of the curation teams and the effort they put into it. Curation teams that are also composed of incredible authors! And great communities that have been created on the other hand.
I think we are getting closer and closer to a Golden Age for HIVE and I think the HardFork HF25 will be the gateway to it. There has never been a better time to bring in new authors or create new communities than now (I hope with all my heart to see more and more French people to join us) but also for the new dApp (yep, my IT side is back 😂).
Because all of this, it was not thinkable for me not to respect the HIVE Power Up Day and so I proceeded to a Power Up of 730 HIVE bought this morning on Bittrex and which brings my account to 1 500 HIVE 🎉
Si j'ai investi depuis cette date c'est car je suis addict aux badges de @hivebuzz-fr, plus sérieusement, depuis 1 an je vois HIVE s'embellir chaque jour un peu plus.
Je n'ai jamais eu en 3 ans de présence un feed aussi beau et vu autant d'auteurs de grand talent arriver. Tout la haine que je pouvais avoir à l'époque de STEEM en voyant des shit posts avoir de large récompense à disparu (même si il en reste quelqu'uns, mais ils sont tellement minoritaires) tout cela en partie grace à un travail magnifique des teams de curation, qui sont par ailleurs elles aussi composé d'auteurs incroyables! Et de superbes communautés qui se sont créés d'autre part.
Je pense que l'on se rapproche de plus en plus d'un age d'or pour HIVE et pense que le HF25 en sera la porte d'entrée. Le moment n'a jamais été autant propice pour les nouveaux auteurs ou nouvelles communautés (d'ailleurs j'espère de tout coeur voir de plus en plus de français nous rejoindre) mais aussi pour les nouvelles dApp (bah oui mon côté IT 😂).
Pour tout cela, il n'était pas envisageable pour moi de ne pas respecter le jour de HIVE Power Up et ai donc procédé à un Power Up de 730 HIVE achetés ce matin sur Bittrex et qui porte mon compte à 1 500 HIVE. 🎉

I completely agree with you: Hive is a much kinder place than Steem. I am also seeing better attention at posting. I am quietly more active here that I was there....

what is the expected date for hf25?
The date has not yet been set @viniciotricolor, probably somewhere between late May and June (this will depend on the results of the various ongoing Testnet) 😉
