#MC2022 || My maize plants got startled by the heavy breeze

It is another beautiful and cloudy Friday. The rain had been busy felling for days now and the weather have really been cold.

There was a heavy rain fall yesterday with a great breeze and the rain shower continue from where it stopped this morning but it was not a heavy rain. I have to stay indoor with my wife and our baby for some hours before the rain could stopped.

I went after the rain stopped showering to check on my turkey birds and my local hens too but I am happy that they were in good shape.

I thought of checking my maize to see whether there is nothing wrong but I was surprised to see that all the maize have already fell down due to the heavy breeze from the rain that fell yesterday.

I am not happy with what I see, and I immediately take my short cutlass and used it to gather the soil on the base of the maize plants for them to stand firm.

It takes some minutes to get all the maize plants stand straight but I am happy that I got everything done. The maize has been growing very well and I hope it will continue like that as the rain keep falling. A big thanks to @felixxx the initiative of #mc2022 and I happy to be part of the challenge.
