RE: HomeEdders News: a Farewell, the Blockchain and a Community Update

Thanks for the heads-up! I like this community feature for re-posting articles that are paid already, yet I value the open tribe communities (tribe-tags) much higher. So I suppose to transfer anything that comes from community beneficiary to the tribe is the best deal, for it voting on the community members anyway, right? Then it might be a good idea for a trail in the other direction: @HomeEdders voting on anything that the hive recognized? Well, that's begging the question whether everything that is posted into the community is worth voting for. Though this may not be relevant at this point in time.

In general I don't see a problem with the blockchain. There will always be "governmental upheavals". Isn't that even more the case with decentralization? On the question whether the chain has been decentralized already, you'll find some articles resteemed in my blog. I support anyone who's working towards de-escalation. The value is in the exchange, not in the substance, is it? Steem on! !invest_vote @tipu curate

Thank you for the input and the tipu (I keep forgetting to do that myself, doh!).

I know what you mean about the tribes. I'd rather gotten into a rhythm with them and the communities is all different again.

Does the hive automatically vote on posts added to the community? Off to check... no, I don't think it does. So I'll need to set it voting.

Yes, governance is always there in one form or another, isn't it. Life keeps plodding on and change keeps changing.

Life is at change. And then there are creative little projects like @investinthefutur with !invest_vote for helping plankton reaching the SBD 0.02 minimum payout instead of running against government.
