Home Education Curation Collection. 6th April 2020

With the world in lockdown, suddenly a lot more families are getting a taste of homeschooling. It's been interesting to see all the posts about it. For many it's just getting the children sing the work the school is defying, but some have embraced it in other ways too. Either way, it's been wonderful to see more activity along these theme here lately.

First lets welcome a sort of newcomer. @ssiena did sign up on Steem, many moons ago, but was not active apart from an introduction. Not unexpected when you're a homeschooling mum. Now she's back with a new introduction for Hive and I hope we hear lots more from her in the future.

Another who's been with us for a while, but not really introduced themselves until now, is @unschool. Please welcome this unschooling Canadian father and I hope he will also be sharing lots of his experiences and insights in the future.

When a caterpillar crawled into @arrliinn's life on the vegetables being prepared for lunch, she did what any homeschooling parent would do and jumped on the learning opportunity!

For many of us who homeschool, the lockdown wasn't initially a big change for us, but we aren't completely unaffected. @trucklife-family lives and raises her girls on a productive piece of land and reflects in this article on how she tries to stay balanced and positive as the quarantine continues.
