It has been more than a year ago, to be exact March 15, 2020, President Joko Widodo asked people to start their activities from home, work, worship and study. This is done to reduce the spread and transmission of the corona virus. "It's time for us to work from home, learn from home, worship at home," Jokowi said in a press conference at the Bogor Palace, on March 15, 2020.

The world of education is one part of life that is forced to carry out the process from home. Schools, universities are all closed meaning it is prohibited to carry out the learning and teaching process directly, because it can create a crowd and allow the spread of severe covid.

Globally, 214 million students range from pre-primary to high school 23 countries have spent at least three-quarters of class time since March 2020. Of these 214 million students, 168 million in 14 countries spend nearly all class time due to school closures.

I am one of the people who can live up to that rule, the university where I study also requires their students to study at home. The learning process takes place online. So what are the impacts that I have had after studying from home?

Understand the many uses of learning applications.

In Indonesia, there are two applications that are used to carry out learning. Namely zoom and google meet. At first I didn't know about the existence of this application and its uses. However, since studying online, I have come to know and understand them.
They are almost the same, can learn by video calling, and share learning materials.

Access to education is not evenly distributed

Seeing studying at home requires students to use smartphones, then this is where the weakness of this learning process. Because many students don't have this. In addition, internet network access that has not yet reached remote areas. I am one of those who feel this way.

Sometimes I am forced not to attend study, and also sometimes the voice of educators is not heard clearly by us students. This is what makes studying at home not fully making students understand better, in fact many lessons are left behind.

that's how I felt for over a year studying at home online. more than that, I can also practice my abilities in other fields or do practice on subjects. the most important thing is to keep in communication with the teacher if there is a lesson that cannot be understood.
