Indonesia Adheres to the National education system.

The national education system is an education system that is adopted by all schools in Indonesia. Whether it's private schools managed by foundations, or public schools, namely schools that are directly under the government. This system has three levels of education, namely basic education, secondary education and higher education.

Regarding the costs at each level of education in Indonesia, here I will provide information on two types of schools, namely private schools and government schools. For private schools, which are regulated by the foundation, they will apply a fee in accordance with the condition of the student.

For the cost of education itself, is currently experiencing an increase in Indonesia. This can be seen from the data from the state statistical agency, where inflation has increased by 3.18%. From various other data, the increase in the cost of education in Indonesia ranges from 10-15% per year. Nationally, The average cost of living in Indonesia is around IDR 5,580,037 per month.

The difficulties parents face in sending their children to school are, buy school supplies such as notebooks, bags, shoes, and uniforms. because in this context, the government rarely provides assistance. however, at government schools. School fees are relatively cheap and scholarships are given to poor students.

As a vast country, there are thousands of tribes and regional languages in Indonesia, this is a uniqueness and privilege for this country. Not only limited to lessons, with the existence of thousands of national cultures from various existing tribes, each school also presents a platform for students to show their talents in developing culture. Among them are learning traditional dances, traditional music, and wearing clothes with cultural elements.

Conclusion

From the points above I can conclude that.

  • Indonesian education adheres to a national education system which has three levels. Primary education, secondary education, and senior education.
  • Indonesia undertakes a 12-year compulsory education program for the three regions.
  • Indonesia's different culture due to the presence of thousands of ethnic groups has an impact on the Indonesian education system. Namely, each school is obliged to teach the cultural arts of the existing tribes.

Despite eliminating inflation for the cost of education, the government continues to provide assistance in the form of scholarships. and also not many of them do not go to school because of financial constraints. Even during this pandemic, children who study at home will receive monthly assistance from the government's internet quota.
