I grateful to God for the wisdom and strength to be able to pen down this writing today.

We embarked on our ongoing strike on March this year. To me I was happy because I will used that time to achieve some stuffs to myself; the things that I should learn, unlearn and relearn even additional skills to add to already known.

After two months of ongoing strike. On a Sunday there a Bible passage I read and I asked God a question; this the question, "God I am design to be teacher" how will start teaching, immediately a divine idea came, this is the idea, "gather children during holidays and teach them". After one week of this idea, I gathered children in my local church and informed them about homeschooling holiday lesson. They accepted with enthusiasm and joy in their heart.

I fixed days for them to be meeting, the first day we met, it was amazing.

I thank God for wisdom. I didn't structure my curriculum for the homeschooling holiday lesson, each day they turnout wisdom will be in place to direct me on what to teach them.

Their schools were opened and I couldn't continue teaching them. I didn't want to stress them from returning from school to lesson to avoid being fatigue.

I live them to be continued next holiday.

Eh! Another holiday lesson for my homeschooling children.
This time around, profounding. I began this time around, immediately after their closing so I would have enough time with them before school re-opens.

The number of pupils I had today was definitely quite different from other days. Pupils from no way came out to learn.

While teaching I realized that they are not following, I had to stop to do some crazy stuff so they can laugh and relieve them of their boredom. Another I realized was, some of them don't know how to read fluently and some don't know how scrabble, like spelling and other minor things. Last week I actually started spelling with them, which some did well, some not at all.
Today I have seen improvement in spelling. They have tried and I also thank God for passion. At some time it look as if the passion is no more there, no strength. But today the passion is growing, always wanting children to know more about education and life.

Thank you for reading through my blog.
God bless you all.

Hello @peckypeace. It nice to know that you found something worthwhile to do while you're at home. It's even more beautiful that you decided to teach children. Children are the future of every society and helping the child is like saving our future.

I'm so glad everything is going well and the children are improving.
I am also a home teacher too and I understand how it feels when your children are doing good.

I would also love to see your beautiful children next time.

Thanks for sharing and keep the good work on.

If you have any issue in course of teaching your pupils. Feel free to ask the community. We would be glad to help out. There are quite alot of resources and strategies you can get from this community that would help your lessons. Feel free to explore.

Thanks once again

Yeah my children are improving now unlike the first day I started with them.

Next week I will post them here so you can see them. I would have done so but my phone was down.

Thank you for your advice. I appreciate you.
