What Does HIVE Mean TO Me ?

This is my entry to @theycallmedan initiative of What Hive Means To You ? I would first like to thank Dan for organizing this initiative and I absolutely love the concept.

I have broken down this article into several points to make this a bit neat and easy to read and a way that would seem better than summing up everything at one place.

So here we go,

HOW I CAME ON HIVE BLOCKCHAIN ?

My name is Alisha and I'm from India, the time I entered the cryptoverse is not by any means much as it is just 14th of this month which is even before the existence of HIVE blockchain and to be precise just a few days back of it's creation.

Well to begin with, my crypto journey started just because of a friend of mine who encouraged me to hop onto the blockchain and use the available dapps. He himself too was on the chain for almost one and an half year who explained me all the basic things that needed to know to get myself started over here. He goes by @steemer-sayu907 over here and he did guided me in all the spheres I should have had knowledge about.

Just roughly a week after I joined the blockchain a fork was done and HIVE blockchain came to existence and as I told I was just a week old then because of which I was completely puzzled and could not figure out which chain I should hop onto.

So to get opinions on the topic I reached @steemer-sayu907 out and enquired about what should be my move. He then explained me the entire situation with patience and made me understand all the pros and cons of each chain as well as also made me aware of the stuff I would be getting on a chain and not on the other.

Thinking a bit over his suggestions, I made up my mind and decided to hop onto HIVE blockchain completely and stop using the STEEM chain one of whose prime reasons for me was that over HIVE you're assured of being heard and listened to which wasn't available over STEEM.

WHAT DO I WANNA SEE HIVE EVOLVE INTO

Since the inception of HIVE blockchain it has been developing at a great pace. The fact is that HIVE blockchain consists of a ton of positives, it is having the technicalities all perfect, it has got the support of the loyal community members, it consists of the cream part of the entire cake that did existed on STEEM once, all in all we are loaded to rock !

With so much of advancements, we assume HIVE to be soon competing with the major currencies out there and will have hefty market cap to flaunt. All of this would happen with a great pace and the reason behind that is just because of the things we already have built which others had to build over time as well as also the community we are powered with is truly loyal and is capable of fighting off any threat with loads of positivity and this trait isn't visible in the case of any other currency.

The dream of mine is to see HIVE to rise rapidly and be the leading cryptocurrency in the entire market and that is totally possible with the things we are already equipped with and the tweaks we are gonna make frequently along the way would power us up there.

WHAT DOES HIVE MEAN TO YOU ?

Well this is a question which is quite something to think quite deep about as I earlier mentioned I being over here just about 2 week now in the crypto world which makes me very much inexperienced and immature to answer this question.

But from my thought process, I would say that HIVE is a place for me to learn, grow, develop and gain. I do wanna enjoy certain amazing features like decentralization, cryptocurrencies, blockchain tech and more. Hive does means to be more than a token for sure to me as it got imbibed in me and myself being investing time and efforts, interacting with people as well as the sensation of being a part of such a community which has made so many accomplishments does feel really great in the first place.
