Scott, taking Ren's winning smile on the road to brighten the world
After having been on the Steem blockchain less than a month, Ren and Scott of @xcountytravelers began to see a need to provide more of a welcome to new Steemians. Although new themselves, they began welcoming other newly-joined folks in the comments on their posts. Shortly after, they began curating some of the best posts by new Steemians into regular "curation posts" and thus, the idea for the @heyhaveyamet project was born.

This networking encouraged her to boost @heyhaveyamet to another level and envisioned a Discord server to assist new Steemians. And thus, @heyhaveyamet expanded to include a small staff, and the Steem Terminal Discord server was formed!
Everyone on the Staff of the @heyhaveyamet and the @steemterminal projects loves Ren. She is always pleasant, even when having a bad day. Most of the time she is full of energy, and is always bursting with fresh ideas. She has a good head for managing projects and gently keeping her team on track. Her chipper personality and wacky sense-of-humor keeps everyone at-ease and motivated to do their best.
The original vision for @steemterminal was to provide only some basic orientation to new Steemians and then to send them on their way to communities where they could learn further, thrive, and grow. However, many of our trainees have decided to stay even after finding those other communities, which is a great testament to what a warm, welcoming project Ren has created. All the Staff share her vision and management style, leading to a rewarding and fun operation for all involved.
