In one of my previous trip to the mall in the Philippines, It was wonderful and proud to see some local product, made from indegenous materials from different woods and leaf fibers such as Abaca fiber (a fiber from Banana trunk). Paintings and unique arts is on display for sale. It has somewhat become a gallery of arts inspired by traditions, culture and mix with a modern to contemporary designs.

They all look beautiful. Though Modern and contemporary designs nowadays, Local artist are still intactly connected to their roots. Cultural and traditional features and materials are still the same.
