I considered just doing a quick obligatory FIRST POST, but I didn't have a lot to say so it seemed pretty cheap. Instead, I'm going to go ahead continue on like nothing has changed. I do think that I will probably be using both STEEM and HIVE at least for the time being. For right now, I will probably post pretty much the same content in both places. However, depending on who makes the switchover and what communities I get involved with here or there, they may evolve in different directions. We shall see!

Anyway... on to today's post!

I have this Minecraft Style Raised Garden Bed that I need to get filled with soil so I can get my spring garden planted (if it will ever stop raining), but it would take a LOT of dirt to fill it. Instead, I am going to use the hugel mound method. But, that's going to take LOTS of filler material. Luckily, that stuff is easy and FREE to come by. People just throw it out on the side of the road!

One man's trash is another man's treasure! You know all of those bags of dry leaves and fallen limbs that everybody in the neighborhood puts out on the curb? I'm about to put them to good use. I have a Minecraft style raised garden bed that I need to fill, and I plan on filling it using a hugel mound. But first, I have to gather a BUNCH of fill material!
