We Scored About 200 FREE Strawberry Plants!!
I have wanted to start growing strawberries for some time now, but I just haven't taken the plunge. Being a perennial plant, they are a long term investment that I want to make sure I do right from the beginning.
That being said, when you get an opportunity to pick up FREE strawberry plants, you kinda have to take advantage of that! They ended up being the Ozark Beauty variety - exactly the kind I was hoping to get. They are listed on Home Depot's website for $29.09 per pack of 25 plants (although they are currently out of stock), so I came home with well over $200 worth of strawberry plants FOR FREE!!

Sweet! You gave me an idea. I should divvy up my strawberry patch and put it... Well... All over the damn place.
You can't have too many strawberries, and apparently they'll spread like wildfire!
Yeah, we started with four plants last year, and probably have around 200 in our patch now. Not sure how to tend them, do they need thinned to produce? We got I think three berries this year so far 🤔
