RE: My introduction post

Welcome to the Hive community @viy!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and Peaklock,
  3. The owner password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and
be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own
    .
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

Nice to meet you!

I hope this post didn't go through twice, I only intended for it to be once! Does editing the post repost it, or something? I did do an edit to add an image.
Also, yeah, I've noticed that attribution is very important here, so I've decided to dodge the bullet and only post photos I took myself! That includes the rainbow dice images - they're just a lot of my prettiest dice lying on a table.
I had to meet half way on that with my review of The Night Cage, since no physical copies of the game have been released for me to take pictures of, so I should probably edit in a source for that one image I used. Do edits repost, though? I don't want to accidentally repost.

Thanks for all the help! I'm really glad to be learning the ropes.

No, it didn't go through twice that I am aware of @viy lol!
As far as sourcing, it's simple, we attempt to get the original author, not the sharer or image hosting site; there are a number of royalty free sites like Pixabay.com and Unsplash.com, but sourcing not only puts some light on the original artist or photographer, but also sets the stage that you did not plagiarize or use anyone else's material without rights.
To answer the other question, the next few days are iffy because everything is still being worked out, and even without this HardFork going on, a lot of people have had comments accidently post twice, I think that has happened to the majority of us.
But you're good.
