Quiero Agradecer a @joseacabrerav por compartir su experiencia sobre esta maravillosa red social que es @steemit. Hemos creado un grupo de estudio: @luisanacastillo, @luisdi, @sergc y otros amigos. Es estupendo cuando personas apasionadas por su arte y con buenas intensiones, se unen y apoyan, de ahí solo se esperan hermosos resultados 💥.

Sobre mi:
Mi nombre es Daniel Carrillo, nací en el centro de Caracas, Venezuela, en uno de los puntos más al norte del continente Suramericano. Soy de herencia mestiza: andina por parte de Madre, y Chilena por parte de Padre. Crecí en una familia que siempre me inculcó y apoyó en el desarrollo de actividades artísticas. Mi mayor y primera influencia fue mi Padre, Sergio Carrillo, @sergc, gran pintor y músico, aunque en el anonimato, la persona más creativa que conozco. Además de enseñarme a dibujar, @sergc, me abrió una ventana a un mundo muy particular que se desarrollaba en torno a la música, el cine y revistas alternativas; y junto a eso me heredó, una fuerte atracción por la cultura de los pueblos indígena, desde los mapuches del Sur, los nativos del norte, y las comunidades que viven en Venezuela y la Amazonía. Siempre buscamos la manera de empaparnos de historias, pinturas, máscaras, experiencias; desde las bibliotecas, a los mercados y hasta adentrarnos en las hermosas selvas que conforman nuestra América. Y así creció mi pasión por lo indígena, lo nativo, originario, todo lo relacionado con la memoria ancestral que llega hasta nuestros días a través de los pueblos que conviven en la naturaleza. 🌿
About me:
My name is Daniel Carrillo, I was born in the center of Caracas, Venezuela, in one of the northernmost points of the South American continent. I am of mestizo heritage: Andean by Mother, and Chilean by Father. I grew up in a family that always instilled and supported me in the development of artistic activities. My biggest and first influence was my Father, Sergio Carrillo, @sergc, great painter and musician, although in anonymity, the most creative person I know. In addition to teaching me how to draw, @sergc, I opened a window to a very particular world that developed around music, film and alternative magazines; and next to that he inherited me, a strong attraction for the culture of the indigenous peoples, from the Mapuches of the South, the natives of the north, and the communities that live in Venezuela and the Amazon. We always look for ways to soak up stories, paintings, masks, experiences; from the libraries, to the markets and even into the beautiful jungles that make up our America. And so my passion for the indigenous, the native, the original, everything related to the ancestral memory that reaches our days through the peoples that live in nature grew. 🌿
Mientras estudiaba cinematografía en la Universidad central de Venezuela, junto a amigos con ideas y gustos en común, concebimos la idea de armar un colectivo de expresión artística al que bautizamos RAMA, tomé la iniciativa del proyecto y le dediqué mi tiempo y creatividad a construir obras de todo tipo, desde ilustraciones, arte callejero, performance, videoarte, animación y demás creaciones en diferentes medio de expresión.
La experiencia que adquirí en Madrid, España, con mis estudios de post grado de Postproducción para Cine, entre otras cosas, me dieron una perspectiva más profunda sobre el arte y sobre el proyecto Rama, estableciendo un constante desarrollado del manejo del medio digital. Trabajamos con proyectos de animación 2d y 3d, arte generativo, interactividad, video mapping y motion graphic, gran parte de él, bajo una influencia bien definida por las manifestaciones de pueblos originarios y la naturaleza. 🌱
While studying cinematography at the Central University of Venezuela, together with friends with ideas and tastes in common, we conceived the idea of putting together a collective of artistic expression that we baptized RAMA, I took the initiative of the project and dedicated my time and creativity to build works of all kinds, from illustrations, street art, performance, video art, animation and other creations in different means of expression.
The experience that I acquired in Madrid, Spain, with my postgraduate studies in Postproduction for Cinema, among other things, gave me a deeper perspective on art and the Rama project, establishing a constant development of digital media management. We work with 2d and 3d animation projects, generative art, interactivity, video mapping and motion graphic, much of it, under an influence well defined by the manifestations of native peoples and nature.🌱

Como la extensión de los árboles, Rama busca, dentro del amplio mundo de la comunicación, ser una extensión de la naturaleza y los conocimientos de los pueblos originarios en la sociedad occidental; valiéndose del estudio y experimentación de los recursos digitales y analógicos, como medio de conexión entre las personas y el planeta. El trabajo de Rama es artístico, audiovisual, interactivo, educativo, saludable, unificador y constructivo. Rama va de lo ancestral a lo moderno, de lo vegetal a lo digital; es cuerpo, espíritu y códigos binarios. Rama investiga en la memoria de los pueblos originarios, oye la historia de su boca, come, huele y siente las manifestaciones que hasta nuestros días se han mantenido; recolectando ese conocimiento o experiencia para crear una obra guiada por su inspiración, que intente mantener su esencia originaria, manifiesta en lo visual, sonora, narrativa, emocional, etc.🔥

Like the extension of trees, Rama seeks, within the wide world of communication, to be an extension of the nature and knowledge of native peoples in Western society; using the study and experimentation of digital and analog resources, as a means of connection between people and the planet. Rama's work is artistic, audiovisual, interactive, educational, healthy, unifying and constructive. Rama goes from the ancestral to the modern, from the vegetable to the digital; It is body, spirit and binary codes. Rama investigates in the memory of the original peoples, hears the story of his mouth, eats, smells and feels the manifestations that until today have been maintained; collecting that knowledge or experience to create a work guided by its inspiration, which tries to maintain its original essence, manifests in the visual, sound, narrative, emotional, etc.🔥

Los medios de construcción y emisión de dichas obras son los recursos comunicacionales de la cultura contemporánea: desde los medios audiovisuales, los proyectos multimedia, el diseño gráfico, el net art y todo el universo digital; pasando por el arte urbano, la ilustración, la música, el performance; hasta llegar a la arquitectura, la reutilización de materiales y la agricultura urbana.
