Thoughts about Investment on Real Estate or Property
Hello Friends
I am back again with another post on Steem Leo which is another topic about Investing in property.
In India property has been one of the most popular thing for the investment purpose however its not as much profitable as it was till few years back. Though it's profitable for long term only which is certainly for few years and not for few month. People like to buy house, plots and even fields and hold for long term hoping that it will multiply their money.
If I talk about my family and friend circle then most of them have already invested some money on property and they're in plus side as they had purchased it few years back and as we know that prices get appreciation and then value increases. I am not saying that property is the only option to get better returns but its one of the popular and more on safe side too.
Now we are in a position when we can say that there are many other things can be even better to bag better profit and cryptocurrency is one of them. But just go 10 years back and tell me what were the options that time?
Now because people have been in to this so long so in few years changing their mind towards investment is not easy however its worth to make them aware about it. I myself had invested some amount in property in 2010 and after almost 10 years it has certainly got a better value and I am happy with it. Though Bitcoin was started in 2009 but I came to know about it in 2017 and I am sure many of you might have the same kind of scenario.
2017 was the year for boom in cryptocurrency and because of that its got huge number of investors. Since people were new so many of them had invested at the higher prices. I agree with the fact that after that boom lots of people have entered in this segment and they have chosen crytpo as their choice to put money in to.
Now when we have people still following the traditional methods but we have people who are smart enough to Invest in new age investment which in based on technology and crypto is one of the most popular. When I say technology then its not limited to cryptocurrencies only instead many people have started funding for various projects building on blockchain and that's also a type of investment. There can be various way to use your money but expected outcome is same. Everyone wants to have better ROI ( return on investment).

It is not easy to change the mentality, even people are very skeptical to hear the word cryptography, those generations before ours find it hard to believe in this. I do not say that everyone, for example in Venezuela I know many very old people who are very happy with cryptos especially with Steem and from here they have learned a lot from blockchain and cryptography.
With respect to real estate they will always be an excellent form of investment, first it is to have a home of your own that is priceless and then having other goods for investment will always be a gain.

The change of mentality is always something that takes time, in some cases it may be impossible for some people, but because of the reality in which we live, it does not wait for anyone and if we do not move to better investment fields we run the risk of losing the wave and That will cost us much more in the future.
Personally, I like investment in real estate, infrastructure and land in general, but I understand that they can be of a slow return and are not very good for speculation if you do not have any privileged information of a violent price increase in the short term. This same logic I think applies to cryptocurrencies, even more, because market instability has already shown what hurts a fall after a great rise in prices, as happened a couple of years ago.
