"Hopes and Fears" (released in 1978) is the debut album of the English band, Art Bears. The group founded in the late 70s, was composed of former members of Henry Cow: Chris Cutler (percussion, texts), Fred Frith (guitar, bass, violin, keyboards) and Dagmar Krause (voice). Musically Art Bears, cultivates an experimental and avant-garde style that places it in the sound coordinates of Rock in Opposition, contemporary classical music and avant-garde jazz ... =)
