You've heard of bibimbap but have you ever heard of bibimtoons? These are my favorite Korean comics.

Since I came to Korea I looked for reading material that was easy and fun. This is the best I found.

The first comic is about a mother and son. She is trying to teach the son English even though he is a baby.

She asked the baby to listen and repeat. When she said the word "book" then the baby actually made the sound "book".

The mom was so excited and told her husband that their son is a genious.

The father answered saying, "He takes after his father. Then his father let one rip, "BOOOK!"

In the second cartoon the boy's mom warns him that if he brings his car to school it will cause a collision.

The boy insists that a toy car cannot cause a collision. When he gets to school he found his toy car caused a collision with his friend.

I hope you enjoyed the comics even if you don't know Korean you can still get a laugh.
