Herd immunity for Covid-19 in Sweden?

Mainstream media doesn’t like it

Today a press release by Business Insider was dropped into the ether about possible herd immunity in Sweden. A few experts from Denmark and other countries have serious indications that the current slump in infections and hospitalisations in Sweden could be signs of early herd immunity for COVID-19.

That doesn’t come as a surprise to me, but mainstream media and the pharma lobby clearly doesn’t like this. All means are used to make this statement look as a very wild guess and maybe even completely wrong. But facts are facts and it is quite normal to link this evolution with herd immunity. But that doesn’t sell newspapers or vaccines, fear does!

Thank god for the Swedes and their approach to this pandemic!

'Thank god for the Swedes and their approach to this pandemic!'

And thank god for having my son and two grandkids living there.
Seriously thinking about leaving this dutch unreliable shithole and moving there.

For you that is indeed a possibility, with family over there. I have my business in Belgium, so not an option... sadly

Sweden took a different approach than most other countries. And while those slowly try to get out off a more or less lockdown, facing a rise in numbers while doing so, it seems. Sweden took the tough road, on first sight, but pulled through.

When I mention Sweden, confronted with virus doomsday preachers, I get fired at with numbers of dead people in return. They heard, they read, they saw on TV, that...

Yeah right, all the people of Sweden died, killed by the Coronavirus. No, I am acting ridiculous, but more died there than in countries with a more or less lockdown!

Nope, wrong, 0.055 percent of the Swedish people died because of the Coronavirus. In the United Kingdom 0.062 percent died, while being in a lockdown.

Oh, and then there is indeed the herd immunity in Sweden. Sure many died there too, but it seems their approach was a very effective one.

And yes, that does not go down well in countries that were in any kind of lockdown, now facing a possible backdraft while they slowly try to unlock.

Think I will start to learn Svensk.
