Autumn Equinox
Hi,
today we had the autumn equinox, the day the calendar autumn is starting. Days will be shorter on the northern hemisphere and longer on the southern. Yes, despite some idiotic believe, the Earth is a sphere.
It is the start of longer nights and periods spend at home. I hope that we will not have to stay on lockdown again, but just be cozy at home, when outside is cold and dark and inside warm and comfortable.
This year has passed very fast and I real can't realize that it is coming to an end. How is it with you?
I got the feeling of the endless loop of the Ouroboros. Time is cyclic, but self consuming in a way. I've got a sense of nostalgia today when I've seen that 2020 almost passed. Yes, a challenging year, but I still want to hold on every moment longer, as this moments vanish forever when they pass.
Yep. Today is east/west day. The sun comes up directly in the east and sets directly in the west.
I saw a 'toss off' in a blog post I read this morning about verifying your writing and the need for it. The author said that some things don't need verification in spite of the trolls such as spherical earth. He said "every weatherman and air traffic controller knows that truth."
