Ever since I doubled my dose of Cinacalcet after being seen by my Endocrinologist when I got confined about my Appendectomy my body pains had improved and it was only about three weeks after I took the additional dose that I am feeling better and better with the alleviation of my pain and stiffness.

I am happy about it of course because I am getting more freedom in my body movements although I still feel weak and really could not walk normally but maybe in a few more weeks if all these things continues I will start to exercise my limbs so that my muscles if there is any more left in my body will regain strength.

Right now my muscles really had shrunk considerably, so much so that I can never lift anymore. My guage is my fingers if they would again get the ability to squeeze a nail cutter then I know that I am strong enough to maybe walk again if the pain in my feet, knees, and hip joints would improve.

I guess that I am doing it all right with the help of my Phosphate binder which helps me not to absorb the Phosphorus and phosphates in my food which is really the culprit of my Hyperparathyroidism which caused my bone changes and disabilities that is associated with it. Now I just have to keep my phosphorus levels in check so that it won't exacerbate my Parathyroid problem and it is I guess is working very well with me.

That is why I am always having a second thoughts in eating manufactured and packaged products, they have in most cases additives and those are in the form of Phosphates which acts to make the product retain some of its qualities from texture to moisture retention. So if I would eat them I am making sure that I would take some "Renvela" or my Phosphate binder for the purpose.

So I am also watching my diet which is really strict, I cannot eat all foods but again thankfully if I wanted to indulge in "Sinful" foods My Phosphate binder will give me freedom or liberty in eat such foods that will otherwise can hurt me.

Then there are my Calcium, vitamin D3, plus Vitamin K2 that will ensure my bones will have some support to make them absorb Calcium as well as my arteries and veins to not Calcify because of Vitamin K2. So if my Parathyroid medicine would really make my PTH levels to go down to normal levels then I might see much improvement soon and maybe get my strength back which is fantastic if that would happen.
