Frost || Behind the Photo

avatar

Hey Guys, Hope you are having a good day ...

I was thinking to write a post or make a video about " Behind the scene of my photography" but unfortunately I don't have anyone right now who can help me with that. So, my idea still remains an idea as I need some assistance.

Today I saw a contest by @nelyp, Behind The Photo - Contest, which inspired me to write this post. I know I won't be able to provide all the information and what I do behind the scene when I capture pictures but hopefully, I will post a video very soon but not today. I will try to give some basic idea especially I will focus on editing in this post.

First, let's talk about the concept of this post. Winter is here and we are hoping for the snow. Actually, yesterday night we had heavy snowfall but I have captured these pictures in the morning. So, this is not exactly snow, it's frost or it was freezing morning. So, if you observe natural elements closely, you will easily understand the is it going to be a snow shower or not.

Maximum time I choose a subject after going out, sometimes random photography. Recently, I am focusing on choosing one element but several elements are welcome. I personally focus on framing and I feel it's a crucial and important part of photography to choose golden point though I am not good at it.

As usual, I went out in the morning for university and as it was 20 mins walk so, I always prefer that time for photography while walking. I captured pictures whatever I see, basically, I know where I have to go for the desired subject.

I always use my smartphone, Samsung s6 edge for photography as I don't have other gadgets. But I believe that inspiration and motivation are important rather than proper gadgets. Maybe you don't have appropriate gadgets but your desire, you wish will inspire you to achieve that goal whether you have gadgets or not.

I am going to show you before editing and after editing. You will see the difference.

Now, you can say this is a huge change, ya I know. And I don't feel it's bad if you edit your captures because, from my smartphone, I only focus on framing and subject, focus. But for others, I have to depend on editing software.

With the help of editing software, I play with shade-shadow, sharpness, cropping and everything... I edit a lot because my smartphone doesn't do it for me while capturing. So, for desire pictures, I am depended on the software.

And the outcome is like this. As I have mentioned I don't wait for a specific moment or for a perfect moment as I am not a professional photographer, I capture whatever I see. But ya I focus on subjects [moments sometimes].

I know there is more to share, more happened behind the scene but maybe next time I will be able to share it with you guys.

That's all for today, just a normal procedure which every amateur photographer does. But last one thing I wanna share, it's kinda funny. People stare at me sometimes whenever I capture some small kinds of stuff pictures because those things nobody actually observes.

I need a lot of time to think about and put one together, I tend to let my photos do the talking and dont say much but of course that would have to change for such a post

I am amazed at the number of cowards who down-vote people for no reason at all. Well they seem to come up with some stupid reason, yet this hurts everyone in the process. I see most have a reputation of zero or minus. Some clowns even down-vote zero...

I love your posts @priyanarc. Do not let them get to you...Keep up the good work.
