Wednesday Walk /Makes ME Smile A tour in my backyard__ by @tattoodjay & @elizacheng

Hello there my dear Hiveans! I had been trying to open my account here and it seems that something went wrong in my end since there's always an error '404'on my laptop screen, I don't know why so I tried using my mobile and it worked! Since it's Wednesday, I contained myself by going around my garden since we're not allowed to go out. I opted to have the fallen tree cut and chopped for firewood in preparation for the longer days of this mandatory nationwide home quarantine or should I say, worldwide! Once we run out of gas, we have firewoods for our dirty kitchen. I love the smell of newly-cooked rice using firewood too.

Then I went around to take a look at my jackfruits. They've grown bigger now and look at the sack I've wrapped to cover it, the fruits have forced its way down. It needs to be "bathed" with smoke either early in the morning or late afternoon to keep it away from borers and other crawling insects. It's one of my favorites and the kids too. One ripe jackfruit is enough to satisfy us and the rest will be for my preserves. You can make a jackfruit ensalada out of the young jackfruit too.

It was a Sunny day so the leaves were dry and brittle that after getting burned, I noticed that the leaves didn't turned into ashes but rather it looked like more of a leaf charcoal! If you look at it closer, you can see that they're still in leaf form and you can still see the veins. I was amazed and it made me smile. You seem to notice the things around you when you're locked down.t
