LIGHT PAINTING ANIMATION: Train Tunnel Orb

An orb animation I made in an old train tunnel a few months ago.

The whole sequence consists of 84 separate orbs. To do this I had the camera set up on an intervalometer that took 30 second exposures. I also had a 10 sec countdown timer going between shots which allowed me time to step forward, adjust my position and be ready for the next exposure. So basically each orb was 40 seconds, times that by 84 and it took me 56 minutes to do the whole sequence.

I was pretty buggered by the end of it, as each orb is done by hand (just waving my arm up and down in a hemisphere).

The tool I used was a water blaster attached to a Nitecore P26 torch.

Sitting on the ground on the right-hand side of the camera, I had one of those 3D printed LED moon lamps to illuminate the tunnel and graffiti.
Oh and I should mention that the piece on the wall here was done by the very talented @mrbasix.

Camera settings for each exposure:
18mm, f/4.5
ISO-1600, 30secs

Sequence edited in Lightroom, LRTimelapse and After Effects.
