Love Island Season 2 Episode 7 Recap and Thoughts

It's time for new girl Lauren to try and shake things up in the villa. All our couple are seeming pretty solid but as we learned last week, that can all change real quick.

We've got the results of our first vote and I have to say I'm so proud of each and every one of you who voted for Connor to go on the date with Lauren. I made the plea to all of you out there yesterday and I was ecstatic when I heard his name called. The glorious Mackenzie meltdown was so amazing and I'm really hoping the date on Thursday is enough to free Connor from the clutches of evil Mackenzie.

Lauren also started making connections with three other guys in the villa, Carrington, Johnny and Tre. I was surprised to see how open Carrington and Johnny were to getting to know Lauren. I thought those were two of our more solid relationships and all of a sudden they are both about to be tested by Lauren. On top of that she selected the pair of them for dates and I'm very interested to see that all play out on Thursday.

Lastly we saw Tre pursuing Lauren after Justine declared that maybe she just wasn't that into him. I was surprised to hear Justine say that and ultimately I'm wondering if she just wants her little Jeremiah back. Can we do that? Can we bring Jeremiah back into the villa? Anyways, I think the Lauren was less attracted to Tre's forward approach and she seemed much more into the guys who were laid back.

Thursday night should be interesting, I'll see all of you then!
