Love Island Season 2 September 13th Recap and Thoughts

Casa Amor comes to its conclusion as we have our big recoupling tonight. Overall not many surprises but a few moments that were a big gut wrenching.

Well might as well start with the new couples. We've got Laurel & Carrington, Mackenzie & Jalen, Moira & Aaron, and Calvin & Sher. We didn't totally know who Carrington was going to pick so I think that's the only real surprise here but still we had a pretty good idea.

The two moments that were the hardest was watching Carrington and Connor walk in. The worst part about Carrington was seeing him walk down the stairs alone and then turn around to beckon for Laurel. On top of that his speech came off as either oblivious to the situation in front of him or very condescending.

After everyone watching Mackenzie couple up with Jalen, the look on all the guys faces was hard to watch. It felt like they all fully expected her to stay with Connor and all knew for certain that Connor was all in on her. Watching him walk in with her teddy bear in hand was brutal. I'm glad he kept it together but honestly I just can't picture him finding another match on Love Island.

I like watching Mackenize not being able to handle Jalen. He's not going to take her bs like Connor did and it already seems like he's getting ready to move on. I do enjoy Mackenzie much more with Jalen than I ever did with Connor but there will be a big smile on my face the day she exits the villa.
