A Bit O' Random Macro~Photography To Pass The Time

Since today was a bitterly cold overcast day with high wind warnings, I decided to stay inside and take some random object macro photos. I was even more motivated once we lost internet and then the power all together lol..
The photo above is of a gold chain on top of a deck of cards. I like how the light is reflected by the chain here.

You can see the face in the spade framed by the chain link nicely in this one. (I told you these would be random!)

From a cold hard chain, to light wispy fuff that look almost like snow.

It is amazing how many different perspectives one can find in just a single small feather. One of the many eye opening reasons I find macro photography fascinating.

I originally found my love for macro photography outside among the flowers and insects of spring and summer.Now over a year later, I am excited to expand into different types of objects and settings in my macro photography as well!

Even something as simple as the fortune from a cookie can become an interesting subject for my macro lens.

Yarn from a hand made scarf takes on a whole new dynamic magnified.

A forest of fibers, a world within itself.

Speaking of the world, I will leave you with this tiny piece of the world from my nifty miniature globe.
