Market Friday On A Saturday with @dswigle
Hey everyone and the incredible @dswigle it has been a while since submitting a #marketfriday so today decided to do just that. To be totally honest I tried posting this yesterday and naturally as Africa would have it, the power went out for 6 hours and by the time it came back I was fast asleep which explains why I am posting it today. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it ;) winx.
I recently took a trip with my landlord to Parys, in the Free-State South Africa. I live in Pretoria and Parys is around a 400 km round trip, a nice scenic trip over the Vaal River
Wynand my landlord has a client who owns a nice little garden Nursery/Tea Garden and whenever we go there deliver some plants for him. What better to take some pics and submit for #market friday eh? Long overdue I do believe ;)
Here we have all sorts of trinkets from water features to windmills, this chap has just spend R15 000 on Christmas lights for this garden I can only imagine how incredible it will look at night.
He has a rather interesting business model selling everything from flowers to coffee and tea, water fountains to lights and more a real little faerie garden with a twist very nice indeed!
We popped in here on Wednesday last week, they had water outs for the last 8 hours, the Free-State is a few degrees hotter than where I stay but we were told boreholes were literally dug between 12-24 foot deep unheard of in our parts as the boreholes here reach hundreds of feet deep, I guess their massive River (The Vaal) and the high water table have everything to do with it, pretty nice as this area is prone to drought!

What a cool place to wander around in, @craigcryptoking. I love the big pink rock (quartz?) and all the cool items laid about. It seems like a nice spot to sit awhile and ponder life, although I guess you were working :)

What an awesome little nursery! I love nurseries that have quirk and character like that! There is one here in Kalk Bay.. I forget it's name, and then another in Ottery called "Harts" - I could spend hours in them!

Sooo, sooo true! And I have been thinking of you and the mommy-to-be, wondering if it is a good sign that you aren't getting along now... oh, to be married I might want to commit hari-kari ....Kidding, just know it could be hormones. Right? :)
All play and no work makes craig a fun boy. Now *that could be trouble all in itself. Yikes
Ahh my friend such a tragic situation lies deceipt deception like one big soap opera, more money than I have, basically lawyers mediators, shrinks and more and we are farming backwards and he is only due 16 Feb. I am pretty stressed about it all to say the very least but trying my hardest to keep a positive mindset, I have to be strong for my boy. Basically in mediation yesterday she demanded R4000 a month from me around $300 which is much more than I can currently afford that's one thing but not the worst. The worst thing is she only wants me to see him for 3 hours a week, 1 hour a day three times a week. I am so traumatized to be honest. I asked her to look me in the eyes and say that again, and she did. I told her this was a circus and a joke infront of shrink and mediator. So Monday off to lawyer probably maintenance court etc. So terribly terribly sad and tragic she really has no idea what she is doing and I am fighting for him, sadly fighting is also not the answer as we all suffer but he suffers the most ;( .. be blessed I am off to bed. x xx
