Market Friday goes House Hunting!!

Today is #MarketFriday initiated by @dswigle (Denise, that's me!!) Join me as we share our markets across the globe. I always look forward to seeing what you send me! It is amazing to see the different markets and cultures of our friends here on steemit. I have been pleasured by all of you, as you send in the most wonderful posts. Going places, doing things, buying merchandise. I have been surprised by many, not being familiar with the culture and I must say that it has been such an educational experience for me in so many ways and I hope for you also. This week, we are going to be shopping for a house or house hunting, if you will.

Are you ready to shop a bit?

image.png

This is the house that I was looking at. Honestly speaking, I am taken by the size of it. I do like the double door entry and the etched glass windows. Not too many stairs up, and rails for extra support, should it be needed. I like to see these things, especially as I have some elderly relatives who like to visit. There are always so many different considerations. Follow me! We'll meander a bit!

image.png

This is the foyer or the entryway inside the front door. The floors are marble and they have added a decorative black accent. I think it adds a nice touch to the entry. What do you think? I look around a little more, I notice the stonework around the arches. I feel like those generous arches really give it a nice feel, very classy. The French doors on the other side of the foyer allow more light into the rooms. As a bonus, it has a layer of quiet added to it also!

Please leave the link to your post on here so it can easily be found by others. It helps you and me to have them in one place. Where else can you take such a quick trip around the globe? Thank you so much for joining me!! ❤

Let me introduce you to the kitchen! It was amazing. I mean it. I will admit that I love the durability and low maintenance of the quartz countertops, and that would be my first choice if given one... However, either granite or marble work brilliantly. I do like the stone because you can put a hot pot or casserole right on the countertop and it doesn't burn! It's stone! I almost put a pot on my mother's countertop. She did not have stone! Oops!!

image.png

This seating area is on the other side of the sink (previous picture) The other side of the black countertop. It is very popular here in the United States to have two different colors on the countertops, especially in the stones. I am not in favor of a lot that I see, but this one I like.

image.png

I know! Too many of the kitchen, but, I wanted to show you that there were island seating and even the back Peninsula with five seats. There was a pot filler over the cooktop and Wolfe stove, SubZero appliances, and 3 ovens which include a steamer, warmer, convection oven. You could see in the previous picture that there was a table so the kitchen was eat in. No picture, but there is a large walk-in pantry that also has room in there for all your small appliances.

image.png

Flowers. There must always be flowers.

I touch you lightly
With my thoughts
Your heart is next to mine
Caressed by hands of love
My love
Lips to lips, sweet, gentle kiss
Tracing the reality back to my heart
I roll over, and the moment takes its escape.

STOP!! BRAIN TEASER AHEAD!!

I have six eggs.
I break two
I fried two
I ate two
How many eggs are left ?

source

ANSWER: 4 Eggs

Explanation:

1 break, fried and ate the same 2 eggs. So there are remaining 4 eggs.

image.png

There are two places in your house that you are almost guaranteed to get your money back. One is the kitchen and the other is the bathroom. They really decked this bathroom out with a jacuzzi tub, a gang shower(yes!! I kid you not, it was big enough for eight people.) a bidet, a television and a sauna room, which is right off the bathroom. It has double sinks, a chandelier and I cannot remember if I am missing anything. What I didn't forget was that I am pretty sure I could have a party in there if I was so inclined. I am not

image.png

Here is the shower. Tell me you can't fit eight people in there. Seriously.

image.png

The Sauna. Everything was so nicely done, well except for perhaps the decorating, It is not quite to my taste, but, decorating is so individual.

image.png

The downstairs bar area is set up nicely with plenty of seating. It was not a basement, but rather a walkout, so that afford more lighting. A huge win. It had a popcorn machine, storage room and a sink, microwave and a dishwasher, in case you don't want to run all the way upstairs to wash a dish. This walks right out to the pool

image.png

You definitely feel like you are living the life when you stretch out on the full-length deck just for a little relaxing. I bet there was room for thirty people. At least.

image.png

This is a broad view of the pool area, where there is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need. They made a huge firepit and a sandbox built right in. Over the fence, you can see an area for the play station and covered picnic area. There are actually 10 acres that are part of the house. Nicely wooded with several fountains, including a huge on in the front of the house.

image.png

*This is one of the kid's bedrooms There were only 4 bedrooms but there are really more being used for bedrooms. I wasn't too impressed with the decorating style, but that is an easy fix. I didn't want to overwhelm you, so I didn't put a lot of pictures in. I can say that there is also a laundry, a dining room, an office, four full bathrooms, and several half bathrooms. There is a living room with several sitting areas in the house. A media room with projection screening. A wine cellar and is within seeing the distance of the beach. It was a most fabulous place like that. There is a sprinkler system and everything! It was pure paradise looking at this one. And it is on the approved list! How can you spell Yay???! source for most pictures

This picture is dedicated to #FunkyEdits by @CrazyPoet. Over the top sky blue for you.

image.png

A flower. There must be flowers. Always and forever, a flower to color my day. This picture is also dedicated to #FridaySkyBlue #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra. Consider today a twofer.

Some things in life are worth doing it again. The exactness of that feeling will never come again, but, the joy? Does it matter when the joy is still there?

It is nice to have a fresh voice, day in, day out. But the charm of elevating this day trumps finding another to take its place. Have you seriously looked for a blue flower in this season? Happy are those that did.

And just like that, my shopping is done. Until next time! I hope you had fun and next time, we will go to another house and do a bit of comparing. comparison. As always, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit #MarketFriday!! Have a most fabulous day!

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

How to Participate:

It is always interesting to see the different markets around the globe! C’mon! Show me your market shots! I eagerly await them!

Let the sun shine in on your life
So the joy may touch your soul

20180806_112009.jpg

I have been discovering new places, some right in my own backyard!! I am intrigued by different cultures. It is exciting and yes! I would love to see yours! Don't forget to take photos wherever you happen to be shopping - whether it be the grocery store, the local marketplace or even an art gallery, a kite festival or a cherry blossom festival! Wherever money is exchanged for a service or for merchandise. Be different if you wish! It does not have to be a traditional market! We will love it! I promise you! Thank you for visiting my post 💖 Because of you, I come back to post, again and again, I am encouraged by you, for the time you take to visit, comment or even upvote. For all of these reasons, I am eternally grateful. Don't ever forget what a wonderful world we live in, people. Let's hold hands around the globe and make this earth really spin. Some days, it is not as easy to see, how wonderful it really is. Kindness counts. Wherever you go, whatever you do.

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.

they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?

i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.

later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,

"everywhere"
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

No worries, I know that you are many hours behind us. So, it's still Friday now. 😁😁

Of course Hangin is being a gentleman. I would expect nothing less from him. I am hours an hours behind you, then yes I believe it is a whole 12 hours to be exact. I know I don't need to give you a prize as one was not even mentioned, however oh, it is part of my fun also and even though it's a friendly game, I have pushed myself to be part of it. LOL I like to see a little bit a fun between us.

I think it is a beauty of a house! I can see you really decorating it up with your amazingly good taste. Just think of all the Christmas decorations!

I think I would insist on a rug in the foyer though. That marble must be slippery when wet.
I love all the trees surrounding it and 10 acres is just nice!

That shower is huge and I can see you getting into saunas!

Nothing not to love about this house! It is gorgeous. Hits me in all the right spot!!

Thank you!! I loved it. I love them all, don't I? Well, this one, in particular, had a lot of things that really appealed to me. I was very happy with the kitchen and that is my place I spend a lot of time, so I was pleased and the bedroom, even though I didn't show it, was stunning with his and hers walk-in closets.

The bathroom is better than the one I have not and I love my bathroom, but it is actually too large. I am not a fan of huge bathrooms or bedrooms. I would rather have square footage in the living area.

Thanks for stopping by and checking it out and leaving your kind words behind. #MarketWeekend awaits you! LOL

That pub in the basment is amazing. I really like the wooden ceiling fan. However, I could do without the cow skull. I would replace it with almost anything.

Yes. Those are not my decorations!!! If I purchase this house, he will move all of his things out and I will paint and tidy it and move my things in.

I didn't really post many pictures, but the pub has a second media room down there, plus 2,400 unfinished space, although all it needs it to be framed in with sheetrock. So that is huge down there.

I have a few more of it down there, I loved it too!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving you kind comments!

The western theme needs to be toned down a bit. It's not a ranch house, lol. It's a beautiful house otherwise. That double fridge in the kitchen impresses me a lot. The pool is obviously incredible, especially with that large outdoor kitchen area. I'm guessing the backyard extends beyond the pool fence. I'm surprised in a house that size there isn't an ensuite in the basement or garage for either elderly parents or adult children.

In any case, definitely decorate it to your taste because it looks like a dream home.

All of the bedrooms are ensuite. So they all have a full bathroom and a sitting room that is separate from the bedroom.

It is ten acres as are all the houses there, and there is another opportunity to make another whole house (2400sq ft) for parents or adult children down near the bar area. which is unfinished as far as walls, but, everything else is plumbed in. At 8.400 square feet already, there is enough space already and it is well divided. There is even another living room upstairs for more personal space. I love the extended family plan. I love my family. :) Even more when there is space for them.

The funny thing is that when you take all of that cowboy theme out, it is very Mediterranean in style.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out the #MarektFriday post! I will admit, it is different! Have a fabulous day!

I think i like yard/forest most of all! A sauna and a pool sure are nice too. Can i paint the house white and the trim blue? Haha. I wonder how that would look. I like those sites where you can design your car with different color schemes inside and out. It would be fun to use on homes!

I love the wooded area too! Although the pool is up there on my list as is the sauna!Yes!!! You can paint the house! Very California looking. :)

They do have things like that but it is an architecture thing and I am sure that there are plenty out there that love them/ I know I do!

Are you saying there aren't any mosquitos? lol :)

0

avatar

Don't ask me why, but, mosquitos are not rampant in this part of the country unless you live in a densely swampy area. I had never thought about it, but, people that have come to visit different parts of Virginia have made comments and it's true and has nothing to do with spraying pesticides.

I am not sure what they do, but, it seems to be more along with a natural fix because my body doesn't appreciate those chemical sprays. They make my lips numb, so I can tell when places do it.

So, the answer to your question is, not really. It doesn't seem to be a problem.

How about that?

I was being a bit silly. We have a lot more mosquitos around lately. I was just bitten several times when i wrote that ; ( The pesticides don't seem like a good way to go.

Good day, dear Denise, @dswigle

This is home, this is a real Palace...
I wish I had one, probably not. I have a small family, and in this building you can even get lost.

Besides I do not really like to wash the floors, and there is probably an area of about 100 square meters, and maybe more ...

And this is my new post for #MarketFridday

Wow that is super nice I to am sure about some of the finishing styles but that can be adjusted to ones liking I love the entrance way and foyer

Looks a lot bigger that what I would be looking for us when we move but it does look so plush

It is an amazing house but I too am not sure about most of their finishing styles but I can be change to adjust it to my more Mediterranean / English style of living. Well I am sure it is bigger than what you and Lulu will be looking for, my family has been growing larger instead of smaller over the years and it still requires a good amount of space. Having said this I am perfectly comfortable and what I have already and this is just an opportunity to upgrade which I may take advantage oh. Thank you so much for always being apart of Market Friday and as always I wish you a most wonderful weekend.

It really is huge and more room than I need but, all of the room is usable if that makes any sense to you. I loved the entrance, it was so welcoming to me. And I did like the foyer also.

Size wise ideal for a big family, as a home it offers some nice detail (some not so nice).

Entrance hall looks elegant, floors when wet could lead to a nasty fall. Entry to home also extremely impressive in stone work, much like arches indoors.

Way too big for my needs, all in all I would end up in the garden more than the house enjoying what the land offers.

I thought it was tumbled marble which isn't slippery, but, I could be wrong. I agree that the arches are a nice touch.

It isn't for everyone, as you point out, and yes, the garden will def be one of the places I would live if I buy this. My family is large, so it is a good fit but will admit that it has more features than I (or anyone) actualy need.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a hello and nice comment. It is always appreciated!

Oh, yes! I totally agree! Losing weight and losing the carb habit go hand in hand.

Carbs are definitely not my friend. There must be something to the addiction of them. I never ate many carbs growing up, we ate more of a Mediterranian diet growing up.

So, that is how I direct my eating nowadays.

Well, except when I get a fresh bagel with cream cheese. Can't help myself!!!! :)

Oh my word @dswigle, what a house :) The foyer and kitchen are amazing. Just think of the parties you could hold there. Tons of Steemit friends all in one location, a Steemit Meetup! lol Seriously, when do you plan to move? Pretty exciting stuff I would say, truly a dream home my friend! Yikes!

Haha!! I really loved the house! It seems like the perfect answer to my dilemma of needing a few more options. I loved the foyer also and it was nicer in person actually. It had such a GRAND feeling to it. The kitchen was actually up your alley with THREE ovens. And I loved the pot filler, that I don't have now. Misplaced stove and all. :)

I like that everyone can sit around the kitchen and talk while you cook. It felt just right.

I am looking at houses right now. I go see another one today, but, I have to admit, I can tell you already that I love this one. A meetup! What a great idea!!! LOL

It truly is a dream home to me. Thank you for stopping by and saying hello and leaving those kind words behind! Appreciated and I hope you have a most wonderful weekend!

I'm always tempted to show up at open houses, just so I can take a peek inside gorgeous homes like this. If you decide this is the one for you, I'm crossing my fingers that it all works out. Happy Friday and have an awesomesauce weekend, dear lady! 🤗

I love it, Traci, I do. Can I get any more excited about it than I already am? No!! I do go look at another one today and this is a totally different look and more on the beach. Or close.

Go ahead and show up at Open Houses! They are a fun way to go! When I lived in Texas, my friend and I went every weekend! Well, almost! It has everything I would ever need and then a few things. But, thank you for crossing your fingers for me!!!! xoxox

Have an awesome weekend!

As much as I love the beach, if given a choice between that amazing property and one with less bells and whistles (if that's the case) but closer to the shore, I think I'd stick with this one! Of course, I've seen a few winter storms a little too up close and personal in my oceanside hometown of Gloucester, MA. 😜

One of these days, I'm gonna go ahead and crash an open house! I'll be sure to post about it when I do... 😂

Be sure to keep us posted on the house hunt - I'm wicked curious to see what you end up picking out! 😊

Hahah! You know I will!!! :)

I grew up oceanside too in Connecticut and I will say that you got nastier storms than us, but, not as good as Maine! Oh, we had a summer home there and the clap of thunder would almost roll you out of bed!!!

I have a house on the Eastern Shore of Virginia already. An old Victorian that has been worked on for years, little by little but, everyone has gotten great joy out of it and it was bought before the house here in the DC area.

It is nice, but, a little too rural for everyday living. (job-wise etc)

I shall keep you updated! Half of the fun is the thrill of the chase, right??

Here is my entry for this week, Denise:

https://steempeak.com/esteem/@fitinfun/informal-alley-market-bangkok-thailand

What a stunner of a house. I hope you will have help if you get it. I see a lot of dusting in the future! I love the outside space and kitchen. What a place to flop down into and never leave.

The newer houses have amazing filtration and don't need dusting like older ones. My current house is that way, so that doesn't worry me. Besides, I clean a little bit every day and so it never seems overwhelming! That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Hope You are well and things are going good! Oh! Bangkok! I know how you love it!

Yes, i did get a week in Bangkok for an unexpected trip. I really do love that place. Fingers crossed for STEEMFest. I will be there, but maybe not with a conference ticket!

Good for you on keeping up with cleaning. That is one of my worst skills :)

It's actually not too bad for me because I like to putter around when I'm at the house as opposed to sitting down and doing nothing. It takes listen half hour a day to tidy up and dust something or Swiffer something. I'm usually good about putting everything in its place so that everything pretty much keeps itself straightened up. My mom had nine kids and did this religiously and our house was never a mess, so it seems to work and I don't seem to work very hard at it so I'll stick with that. Anyway, to each his own and it doesn't bother me if people don't keep their house the same as me and I hope it doesn't bother anybody mine seems to be run by a fanatic. LOL Anyway I am jealous that you will probably get to Bangkok as I know I will not be there, but will be off traveling on a different Adventure at the time. They say the timing is everything and it seems it is not my time to be there. You'll have to take lots of pictures! I had to get a giggle out of you're saying that it might not be with a conference ticket. Is that sort of like skipping school?

Haha! I read a post by someone who mentioned spending all of the last STEEMFest outside smoking even though he had paid the max price! I might be sitting on the curb crying.

I will be there for sure since the dates coincide with my next time I need to leave Malaysia with my visa and Bangkok being the cheapest place to go anyway. The hostel I booked is about $30 usd for a week and costs about 15 cents to get to the venue on one quick bus.

My mom kept an immaculate house and it did not rub off on me one bit. I would rather move than clean :)

Oh my God! You are hysterical. You would rather move than clean. I have to say that's probably the funniest thing I've heard today. I'm excited that you get to go to the steam Fest and perhaps just a tad jealous. All the people you'll get to see! That's pretty awesome. Well I am very glad for you and I am so happy that things coincided that way and that you actually get a relatively cheap hostel. I know I know hear from you before you go but just know that I'll be thinking about you!

It is a big house and I know that it's big even for me. But I have to admit that I really like the generous use of space and at this point in my life, bigger seems to be better as if it's more of my family. My family seems to like to gather the together for even the least reason. I don't live near anybody right now but that would be not noticed because it always seems like there's somebody here that doesn't belong. LOL well at least they take the time and energy to come visit and I always open my home to all. Maybe it wasn't horrible because it wasn't slippery but I thought it was marble.

I backed too but I am telling you that shower had enough room for a dozen people easily. I'm not sure the last time I have seen such a big shower in a house. There were dozens of jets coming from everywhere and if you put it up too high I could imagine a feeling like you were being assaulted. LOL the deck on the second floor was one of my favorite parts, sitting up there with a chair overlooking the entire piece of property. Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to make a post for #MarketFriday! Is always appreciated.

As always, I I wish you a most wonderful day!

And here I was thinking that it was a good thing that I did have the resources to buy it! Everything about the house is perfect especially the fact that my family spend a lot of time coming to visit me and and this will nicely accommodate everybody. While the house is bigger than what I actually need in the bank scheme of things oh, it is exactly what I need. I am one of nine kids and it always seems like there's an extra half-dozen people in my house visiting. And I love every single minute of it. We will see how it all pans out because the house that I am in right now is certainly big enough but lacks certain features. I hope you are having an amazing week and I want to thank you for leaving your link.

Well, I didn't understand if this is your home, it will be your home or you are still looking (or not). I hope you will forgive my lack of understanding.
About the house ... I like it, of course. When I was young I dreamed of something similar (but smaller) reading hundreds of Interior Design magazines.

I like the kitchen and the bathroom. I prefer the bedroom a little less decorated.

If you are going to buy the house, I am happy for you and your large family.

This week I wrote about the holy ones (a little). It's a blog I started last week and I couldn't finish it in time ...

Some Will Agree That This Is A Market Too ... Others Will Be Upset!

About the house, it is one that I am looking at to buy as I always seem to have so much family here. It might be my brothers or sisters or even extended family, but there always seems to be a congregation and I have never minded but this is not fortunity to expand and make it more comfortable for all, especially with the pool and the outdoor eating area. Although there is a pool where I am now, it is a community pool and shared by my neighborhood. Well that leaves me off the hook as far as pool maintenance so, there is no privacy and although I am okay with that this seems to be a nicer option. It has a lot of extra features that this house does not have and although I could easily live without them oh, this is an opportunity to have them in my house. So make no mistake oh, it is not a done deal, but I am considering moving up just a little bit. That being said, I will be looking at another one today so next week I will post about that and the differences and so now you know what working Friday will be next week. I do love going through the architectural digest magazines and I still read interior design magazines because I love and seeing what they do and some of the ideas I incorporate into my own home. The kitchen and bathroom are my favorite rooms and as you also mentioned, the bedroom needs to be a little less decorated for me. I am not a fan of how they decorated the entire house because honestly, the house screams Mediterranean and they decorated it like cowboy. But, to each his own and I will happily move in if this is the house I choose and redecorate to my taste.

I was very excited to see the blog that you posted because it is something that I would do and truly, it is a market as they sell plenty of religious paraphernalia. On top of that I get a free history lesson and I get to you visually enjoy a piece of architectural Beauty. Market Friday does not get any better than that. I want to thank you for taking the time and energy to put such a beautiful post together.

Have a great weekend!

I understand, you really intend to buy a house. This is a very exciting thing and you have to see more houses to choose from. I wonder if it's in the same area you live in now or you intend to move somewhere else.
It's a choice and an important change in the way of life ... I like that, but you have to choose well.
I wish you good luck and good inspiration in this difficult activity.

Mostly the post about the monastery was written for you and I'm glad it reached its destination. Thank you!

It is fun to look through those prize homes or as they say here, the Parade of Homes. It is a thing here and it is a coveted selection of houses that you buy tickets to go through. It is not a lot of $$ and gives you great ideas!

It is one of my top contenders, this house is. I go see another this weekend and we will see how it fares. I am probably going to do another MarketFriday on this one too. I hope people don't mind.

Thank you so much for the tip dswigle, God bless you! I understand, lol. Is it still in the running? Mrs. J and I built a real estate business in Ohio so I love posts about houses!

Always my pleasure, @janton! It is still in the running and I will be bringing the one I went to see last weekend to #MarketFriday. I love house hunting and should have been a realtor. :)

I love the hunt. Well, I also love pretty houses.

I envy that you had a business in Ohio. It is sooo very beautiful there and green. If it weren't for their winters, it might be perfect! I loved Texas, but, as luck would be, I was sent here to the Washington, DC area.

Which is actually a lot nice than people think. But, the people were the most amazing part of Texas. Oh, and the rodeo. :)

lol! Well, the politicians give D.C. a bad name! The winters in Ohio were pretty severe, that's the reason we moved. So you were moved by your career, sounds like the military! lol. I agree though, the hunt is so much fun. Some people hate it but I think that's the fun part!

Oh, I am well aware of how severe those winters are!!!! Yikes! But, on the other hand, having lived in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and some parts of California, I can say that the heat almost killed me. :)

I am guessing there is no perfect place, but, the severe winters def are a turn-off! But, the fun part is the hunt!!!

Yes, indeed!!! :)

Have yourself a most splendid day!

Oh that's interesting that you've lived so many places, do you have a favorite one?

Washington, DC Barcelona, Spain Brugge Belgium and Florence, Italy, although I lived a few hours from there. :)

Holy smokes! Well I don't know anything about Belgium and D.C. surprises me but I know Barcelona and Florence are fantastic. Were you living all those places because of your career?

Absolutely. :)

But, DC is a wonderful place if you live right downtown, which I did and then I built a house on the other side of the business end of town. So, it has everything and the comfort of a peaceful neighborhood.

DC is in a banana belt, so it is warm until the end of October and we get snow, although rarely. But, one year, it snowed 24 inches!!! Hello! No problem. The metro closes down and all work closes down without public transportation. :)

It works.

(Edited)

It happened. I have already been here and came again. I hope that the broom is hidden and the hostess will not drive me away, like a naughty cat.
I brought a handful of northern stones.
Long live the #marketfriday !!!

Oh, I always confuse when and where to go with my links.
Each house has different rules, and sometimes I fear a dusty broom.
It is necessary to buy a construction helmet! :-)))

I am working on the post for tomorrow. (here in the states) Normally, I put it up on Thursday night (Your Friday) but, I was running late as you know! I will get it up in a half-hour.

Drop your link in the comment section of the #MarketFriday post for the week. Most contests are like this, but, yes, I am confused by it sometimes. I get so many that it is easier to keep track AND others like to go right to my post and read the ones in the comments. It gives your post more eyes on it. Better for you. :)

Always ask if you are not sure. Always happy to help!

Thanks for the detailed answer.
Right now, I’ll start preparing Friday's post.
I understand correctly, this post is needed only on Friday?

Well, you can post it whenever, but, I post my challenge on usually Thursday night (Friday your time) and people drop their links in. I will have people doing it all week long and that is fine, but, Friday is the main day of the challenge. But, if you have more than one, you can post it. :)

This looks a gigantic palace for me!!! How many will be living here? It seems that people will not see each other! Hahaha! 😂

But I love the homey feels this home gives. Everything is well-thought of for the comfort of everyone in the house--the organized kitchen, the impressive foyer, the picnic area, and even the huge bathroom.

I love the pool area adjacent to the forest. Everything is just green!!! The scenery is soooooo beautiful. But don't you have cold winters there?!?

Everything in the house is a luxury for me. It seems that we're living in two different worlds. Hahaha!

And oh, I answered the brain teaser correctly!!! Yeheeeeeeyy!

Have a beautiful day, Denise.

Sorry for the late reply as I do not have an internet connection on our travels.

It is rather big, but, my extended family is large. There are five in our basic family and I am one of nine kids and they all visit all the time!

The house is big but laid out so that it doesn't feel too big. But, plenty of room! I live in a banana belt, and near the water (right across the street) and it gets little to no snow and although it gets cold, the pool is heated. :)

Everything is green and the pines stay green all year. We do live in different worlds, but, I have lived in different parts of the world and it was fine. I am not that spoiled however, this is an opportunity for me, so I am looking to settle for good. :) And it is a luxury for me too!

Yay for the brain teaser!!!! That is awesome!!!

No worries! You are never late with me!!! I appreciate that you think of me!!

Oh wow! Nine?!? That's quite a number! You really need room for them. You need not think of some other place for reunions! Awesome!

Pines are green all year round? That's wonderful! Winter, with everything in black and white, can be gloomy at times (it's just my opinion as I haven't seen snow yet). But green to me is full of life. So, I'm happy for you.

You deserve this spoilt life, Denise. You worked for it. Sorry for my choice of words. It's just that I haven't seen a house as huge as this, I thought it's only in movies. Hahaha! 😂 Anyway, don't mind me. I'm really, really happy for you for this timely opportunity! 😍
