Handmade With Love - Christmas Decorations Made By Kids

avatar

Christmas is coming, basically it's just around the corner. Shops are full of Christmas decorations and gifts from the beginning of November, which is too soon if you ask me but my opinion does not count in this case, I can keep it to myself. At the beginning of December out of a sudden I remembered something very nice I saw last year at one of the local malls and was wondering if I can see it this year again. This week I was at that shopping mall again and went looking for it and found it. I can't describe the happiness I felt when I saw these Christmas trees decorated with these unusual decorations.

What you see here is an artificial Christmas tree decorated with handmade Christmas decorations made by kindergarten kids.

This is the Christmas flower made of paper.

This is another Christmas tree decorated with handmade decorations made by kids from the same kindergarten. Unusual of course but beautiful.

It's a CD or DVD with a snowman on it and some snowflakes stickers. It's not complicated at all and these CDs and DVDs are going to be useless soon or are useless already as there are other things to store data on.

Another CD or DVD covered with paper so it looks like a huge snowflake.

This is quite cute. A CD covered with yarn so it looks like a big star with small stars and dots on it.

A simple one with a Christmas tree sticker on it.

A funny one, it's Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. He's a bit squint and it makes him look angry but that's why it's cute :)

This one has different decorations.

A Christmas tree made of paper and decorated with yarn.

This caught my eyes immediately. A paper plate cut in four and made snowman. I don't know who's idea was it but I would have never thought about using a paper plate, that's for sure. Smart!

This cute hat is made of a plastic ring and some yarn. It's a very imaginative.

A sphere made of string and other decorations made of paper.

An angel made also of paper.

Stockings made of plastic, but still cute.

IMG_20191211_111239a.jpg

Angels, stars, Christmas candies, garlands also made of paper.

I suppose this is Santa, made of paper.

This tree was decorated with ornaments made by kids from my old elementary school. I wish we had such activities when I was a student there but those were different times, very tough times.

This ball like ornament is made of ear cleaning sticks.

This is the work of kindergarten kids.

Imagine these little kids staying at their small table and working on these ornaments knowing that all their hard work will be exposed for one month, the most beautiful month of the year in the most visited shopping mall of the city. At that young age this means a lot, not to mention seeing your work at the scene.

The other most important thing is to teach these children what it means to create something for Christmas with love and give it as a gift for your loved ones. You can buy everything from the shops, but what you are creating with your own hands will always have more value. Learning that at this young age is very important.

I don't know if the participant schools and kindergartens are the same as last year or not but I was happy to see this as a tradition. It's the second year and I hope it becomes a tradition. There's plenty of space in the mall and it would be a shame to take away the opportunity from these kids.

This is my contribution to #marketfriday hosted by @dswigle.

That is so heartwarming to see all of those handmade ornaments by those kindergartners! I remember how amazed I was and touched my children came home with homemade ornaments and to this day they still adorned my tree. There are just some things that are too precious to part with. All these trees riposte amazing and all of these trees are most beautiful. I am sure that the parents are so very proud to have their child's artwork displayed in this manner. I hope, also, but this becomes a tradition that they keep going. Of all the things in the world let's go on, to see a little bit of Beauty made by the young members of society does a heart good.

I want to thank you so much for participating in spending time and energy putting the post together and also for being a part Market Friday.

#MarketFriday loves you!

I knew you would like this as handmade and especially by children is the most precious. Thank you again and again for your support and kindness.

Today I'm going shopping again, the last shoppings before Christmas and hoping to get a bunch of photos for my post 😊
