Looking For A Rosé Wine On A Market Friday - In The 21st District, Vienna

Stressy days....

The days have been so stressy since last week when I started packing things around the house. We are moving to a new apartment (still under construction) in another district and I have to prepare the cartons for household items that are not often used. First thing early morning, we went out for hubbz annual lab test.

Having errands....

It was rush hour at the train station because by the thousands of people commuting from neighboring Lower Austria to work in the city. The streets are buzzling as always at this time of day. I dropped- off hubbz at the Lab for the test and picked him up later. The Lab is found on top of the KFC in a newly built apartment building below. Whenever I see this building, I always thought of getting a bucket of fried chicken with cole slaw, silly of me to think of food always, lol!

The train station...

The train station of the 21st District is not that huge, it has the Underground train called U6 and it´s always full early morning. If you´re lucky, you could have a seat if you enter as first since this is the final station of the U Line.

Cleanliness...

One of the things you will notice is the cleanliness of the streets, people are disciplined enough to throw the garbage on designated bins. You´ll be frowned upon by people if you drop any litter that belongs to the garbage bin.

The Parish Church of the district, one of many churches is a Catholic one and is located in a small Plaza closed to the train station.

The Convenient store......

This convenient store called Aycan is next to the Parish Church and is frequented by so many passers-by going home. They have a nice location and this is where I buy my freshly cut parsley and turkish bread for Hummus.

Looking for a Rosé wine

So to while away the time while hubbz was at the lab, I went to look for my fave Rosé Mateus, a portuguese wine at the cellar of InterSpar. They have a nice collection of wines from all parts of the world. Unfortunately, they only have the Classic Mateus and I was looking for the semi-sweet one.

At least I got one.....

I ended up getting the Zinfandel (California) which is also semi-sweet. I drink half glass of rosé in the évening while watching movie at home, it is healthy and helps in blood circulation. I picked-up hubbz from the lab, went home and looked forward to today´s movie. Today, we watched Anne Hathaway and Ben Afleck´s movie The Last Thing He Wanted on Netflix. The movie is a thriller and I enjoyed watching it with the rosé. I was happy to get back to relaxing after being busy the last days.
