Tea Party with Daddy

Sometimes A Daddy Needs To Have Tea With His Girls (and Boy)

It's a quiet day at home, cold outside. Children are being unruly, mom is in the shower. What's a dad to do? I know. Get out the china, brew up a pot of tea and let's have a tea party! We're all dressed up, have cookies ready, so let's enjoy a tea party together!

Normally, mommy doesn't allow the children to put sugar in their tea, but daddy got it out. They are very big fans of fistfuls of sugar in their tea. Go figure. Oh and cream. They like dumping a lot of cream into their tea.

Speaking of Milk

This post is my first #milkandtators post, part of the Milk Challenge.

Make a post a day, comment on 10 posts that aren't yours every day. That's it.

It's a straight-forward challenge and encourages me to engage with more steemians. If everyone who posts on the Steem blockchain did this challenge, we'd see #steem back to $1.00 or more.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

For a limited time, use coupon code FORTY for 40% off your purchase! Check out the books here.

Yes! Finally a book to teach how to escape the evils of debt and money printing. Parenting and lasting marriages are the only ways that we survive this!

Great Shabbat table you set ;)

Shabbat is such a delight! We teach our children the importance and joy of the Sabbath that someday they will understand why we celebrate and WANT to celebrate themselves someday, rather than just continuing a family tradition.

The Tuttle Twin books are great! My children's favorite is "The Search for Atlas" based on Atlas Shrugged. Our social studies class: studying the dangers of socialism.

Parenting and lasting marriages are the only ways that we survive this!

Yes, we're spiritual preppers. :-)

They look like they are having fun! When our kids get to be more than I can handle, daddy takes the two older ones ice skating in town. They really enjoy that! (As well do I!)

What a great idea! My oldest is learning how to rollerskate... I bet we'll be doing something like that someday.

Man, that's a fancy tea party! I don't have the clothes for a party like that. lol. Your last sentence is very interesting sir ironshield..how would more engagement increase the price of steem?

If everyone who posts on the Steem blockchain did this challenge, we'd see #steem back to $1.00 or more.

What makes FB so successful even while people complain about it, is the engagement and interactions. If FB was "steemit", their coin would be worth over $100 each.

So just the sheer volume would attract more people and advertisers, etc? I'm not sure what the big money investors are looking for are you? In other words, I don't know if Steemit has what they want. It would be nice if some of that big money would start coming in.

As much as we were all unhappy with "bid-bots", (paid for upvotes), it helped the STEEM economy by encouraging big investors to buy STEEM with their bitcoin and delegate it for passive income returns.

Now steemit is more organic with manual curation and engagement (which makes for a better platform), but big investors don't want to blog or interact, they just want daily dividends that they can eventually sell for more Bitcoin. Now that we've chased the big investors away with #newsteem, we're stuck under $0.20. All we have left is to focus on organic curation and interactions since the big investors have abandoned the STEEM blockchain.

Organic interaction and curation (active income) is the more noble, sustainable and difficult path - but in the meantime we all miss STEEM @ $1.00

I understand now sir ironshield, thank you. But it sounds like the big investors will never be back so that's kinda depressing although I want Steemit to be built for the long haul.
