MAXUV Weekly Statement & News - 13 October 2019 [MAP Steem FinTech]

Welcome to our weekly MAXUV account statement.

The MAXUV program will see a few changes during this coming week.

Sales of MAXUV have been slow and I'm not altogether sure as to why we continue to see more vigorous sales of MAPX than of MAXUV. I mean, they are very similar and MAXUV is currently cheaper! Today I wanted to concentrate on something else, so will leave this issue for the next post, but I'd like to set out quite clearly the differences and best uses for MAPX, MAPXV and MAXUV.

The numbers below show a slight improvement on last week but, for a fund designed to be open-ended and able to handle a high capacity of SP, it is still in first gear. One good thing is that the ABV is back at a fraction above 1.00 STEEM, so we have managed to earn back the equivalent value to the discounts offered on our promotional tokens. For existing members, this shows that the voting SP can rise steadily and help with our voting weights.

Our Vote Value continues to hover between 95% and 100% per day per vote. A reminder that this is a percentage of the equivalent of a whole day's voting, that is, ten votes at full power. Indeed, I plan to go back to our original design of one vote per day, so that our service remains valuable but not excessive. It will also be easier to compare it with MAPX. The double-vote was always a temporary measure and I see from our logs that very few members actually post twice, so that the token has not as yet found its best market position.

Let me quote myself from a previous post:

This contest is quite different to most others in that it is quite a lengthy process of nominations and reviews to really dig deep into the Steem ecosystem to find those projects, large and small, that are making a difference to Steemians. I think there are a number of weeks still to go, so if you have, or know of, a project that would qualify, then please read the guidelines and write a submission comment. MAXUV has sponsored the contest with a prize pool of 500 MAXUV tokens.

So, in the hope of welcoming new members to MAXUV, I shall announce the changes this coming week and try to write the simplest possible guide to MAP FinTech's three vote-bonds.

MAXUV tokens active = 8,677
SP in MAXUV = 7,777
Voting SP = 22,620
Other STEEM = 1021
Total STEEM = 8,798

MAXUV ABV = 1.00 STEEM
MAXUV VV/STEEM = 194.0% in 2 votes per day

Note that "Other STEEM" is the sum of all holdings not powered up as SP: liquid STEEM and SBD plus holdings within Steem Engine. Also note that such values are volatile, especially any holdings priced in US$, so the above numbers are a snapshot and may have changed when you look at the @MAXUV account.

The Asset Backed Value (ABV) is our total holdings calculated in STEEM divided by the number of active MAXUV tokens.

Target value for VVS is 150-200% in 1 upvote per day.
