If eyes are windows to the soul
What are windows?

One phrase I found, was this...
"Windows are eyes to the house!"

Looking into the premises is another thing altogether

I'm thinking the façade
Wooden shutters, with or without glass panels,
horizontal or vertical slats, please?

What about the trimmings...
Borders?
Various decorative features around and between each
Three a row, or pretty two-somes??

Fancy eaves to complement perhaps...?
'nuff said

Great shot, and interesting perspective @ackhoo as usual.
I might add that windows are a means of egress, whether legal/illegal or emergency, ventilation and of course the most excellent means of letting your mind roam free with the visions you can see, from your windows.
Very nice indeed.

the open ones show us the beautiful and the closed ones it seems that the ones that you live are of those who look through the slit, without looking at all the answer
