Meet "Whisper"

This is Whisper and he is an English Cocker Spaniel!

Whisper belongs to my youngest sister (one of the twins in our family) and he is her therapy dog, companion and pet! My sister, previously, had stomach cancer and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has always loved and owned "spaniel" type dogs but her last one passed away a number of years ago and she has wanted another one for a while now so her husband bought her Whisper.

I visited with my sister and Whisper last month and took these photos. I had already decided on the photos I was going to use in my post along with the order that I planned on using them but decided to ask her what she thought and which ones she liked best and in what order. She chose the same ones and in the same order so this is my post introducing Whisper to you and with my sisters blessing!

Hello @deerjay love that name.
Named one of my cats that years ago and her sister was named Rumor.
Rumor & Whisper were the names of two moor cats in the Shannara book series.
Currently using Whisper as a character name for a Warlock in Neverwinter =)
Not sure if the !DERANGED bot is working, think it stroked earlier <,< seems to go on a bender on the weekends lol

Thank you so much @chromiumone and for the token also!! They both sound like great names for cats...and or doggies too. That also sounds like it would make a great character name for a Warlock. I can just imagine the wizardry being conjured up! 🤨 🙂

Great looking dog your sis has, been thinking about adopting another dog myself. It's been too long since I've had a best buddy. I've been a little reluctant due to no yard and lots of hours at work, plus loosing the last two (old age) broke my heart and I've been a little reluctant to adopt another.

Awe, I'm sorry to hear about you loosing the last two. You will know when the time is right for another one. I've never owned a dog myself but my family always had a dog or two when I was growing up along with a plethora of other animals. 😊
