I often walk the nature trails in my area once winter releases its hold. Warm and content spring, summer, and fall memories of wandering around on the different trails, often with my puppers along, investigating everything in his path with his snooter.
I am always grateful to have access to such beautiful escapes into nature. Spending time in the forests and meadows that still are thankfully abundant in upstate NY is truly a gift.
To anyone who has access to lovely escapes into nature such as this, I wholeheartedly recommend you take advantage of them when you are able to find free time to do so. You may just realise that you have found another piece of the puzzle to finding true peace of mind and contentment in life.
Getting out into nature is truly therapeutic for mind, body and soul. I find peace of mind in a almost meditative state, and recharge mentally everytime I find myself in a natural setting, wether it be on a nature trail, or in a nature preserve, on a river bank or lake, or on the beach of the ocean shore(I'm originally from Long Island and grew up in part about a 15 minute drive from the ocean.), even just walking through a town or city park can bring healing to ones soul.

This post was inspired by both the #monomad and #amazingnature challenges, both great contests well worth looking into and participating in!
As always remember that it is all about the little things in life, and thanks for looking in! :)

This reminds me of a track on my daughter's previous property. I loved walking through there with the girls and dogs!
