Maracaibo is the hottest city in Venezuela, both in terms of heat and human heat. Their name is maracucho or marabino, they are very affectionate people with everyone they meet.

Maracaibo has a tropical climate since the entire northern location of Venezuela is beach, sea and ocean, and it has a hydrographic basin, On which the longest concrete bridge in the world was built.

I took this photo from the Vereda del Lago, it is like a viewpoint where tourists and natives come since you can see part of the basin and it is a place to come for a walk, exercise, walk the children or distract yourself for a while doing a pic nic.

The music.

The Gaita is the traditional music of Maracaibo, its main musical instruments are: cuatro, furruco, tambora and maracas. Over time the electric guitar, keyboard and bass were added.

The Gaita was created as a protest song to capture the government's complaints in a song, also to celebrate the Chinita Fair, a very famous religious festival in the city that lasts the entire month of November.

The gastronomy:

In Maracaibo you eat everything, the marabinos have a good palate, but the typical is a Creole Pavilion, empanadas, arepas, Hallacas in December, cachapas and casabe among others.

Maracaibo es la ciudad más calurosa de Venezuela, tanto en calor de temperatura como en calor humano. Su gentilicio es maracucho o marabino, son personas muy afectuosas con todo el que conoce.

Maracaibo tiene un clima tropical ya que toda la ubicación norte de Venezuela es playa, mar y océano y posee una Cuenca Hidrográfica, sobre la cual se construyó el puente de concreto más largo del mundo.

Esta foto la tomé desde la Vereda del Lago, es como un mirador donde vienen turistas y nativos ya que se ve parte de la cuenca y es un lugar para venir a caminar, hacer ejercicios, pasear a los niños o distraerse un rato haciendo un pic nic.

La música:

La gaita es la música tradicional de Maracaibo, sus instrumentos musicales principales son: cuatro, furruco, tambora y maracas. Con el tiempo se le agregó la guitarra eléctrica, teclado y bajo.

La gaita fue creada como una canción protesta para plasmar las quejas del gobierno en una canción, también para celebrar la Feria de la Chinita, una fiesta religiosa muy famosa en la ciudad que dura todo el mes de Noviembre.

La gastronomía.

En Maracaibo se come de todo, los marabinos tenemos buen paladar, pero lo típico es un Pabellón Criollo, empanadas, arepas, Hallacas en Diciembre, cachapas y casabe entre otros.

Las comunidades en #hive que apoyan a los Venezolanos son @votovzla y @hiveve, pero a mi consideración, ellos también necesitan el apoyo de Ballenas para que la ayuda que ellos brindan sea mayor.
