MyPictureDay: A walk around on Blood Donation day!

It was a brilliant weather, so I went to Dhoby Ghaut blood bank center for my 4th donation. I did it when I have time, it’s about once a year in average.

I received a T-shirt upon registration (only I realised it was my 4th times), after donation I was served with simple refreshments as shown in the photo.

I decided to buy my dinner on the way home. From the map it was not too far away from Mt Sophia, so I decided to walk up as I was quite curious of the expat living environment there.

It took me quite a while to look for the way up to Mt Sophia, until someone pointed a small alley with steep stair case to walk up, it was not easy to notice or else the main road will be quite far away.

The staircase was kind of high and steep (phew). About 5 minutes walk I have reached Mt Sophia, the area was enclave and not feel like living in the city at all. Here one can find peaceful in the middle of the city.

Mt Sophia is near to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Plaza Singapura, but the shortcut is steep alley of staircases. It will be not comfortable and less convenient for elderly and parents with young children.

There is one condominium named Sophia Hills that caught my eyes, there is even Nan Hua girls school inside. One of the famous school.
