Carmelo Anthony to Sign with Portland Trail Blazers

Finally, the fallen superstar has finally have a team to play after Houston Rockets waived him last season for playing in just 10 games. He's has spent his months unable to play with no teams interested in signing him. But now, the long wait is over, Portland Trailblazers will be signing him according to ESPN.

I'm happy for Carmelo that finally he will prove again his touch in the basket. He's been a monster with Denver Nuggets and he's the leading star of New York before trading him to Oklahoma City Thunder where he played the likes of Paul George and Russell Westbrook that time. He's been a consistent three-point shooter that I feel, he can still deliver his touch with Portland.

Now, it's been likely that he will play his first game against Houston Rockets (his former team) as Portland Trailblazers are going on road. The duos Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are in need of explosive guns after struggling the season with 4-8 in standings. They're hoping that Anthony can provide shooting touches especially beyond the arc where he's very familiar with. In fact in the 2012 London Olympics, Carmelo made ten 3-pointers! :)
