Its monday, and home school already started again. One of the things the boys get at school is music. They do different things and they have musical, instrument knowledge and singing with an app. Yes school is up to date. Ok well he has a keyboard of his own , just one from the thrift store and he has so much fun with it. Now while we are home school bound this is the thing we do when we have a break.

You need fabric ( I have used a knitted old vest that i kept) elastic, and the sewing machine. The elastic I used is 10 cm wide.

This only takes 10 minutes to make and with the days I have these days with work and homeschooling that is a great thing. A small break to be creative is always nice, just as the smile little D gave when i was finished. You measure the size of the piano or keyboard and the height. I pinned the fabric with some pins along the long side first and put it under the sewing machine.

When that is sewed, you do the sides, leave the other long side open to slide the keyboard in. This way the long side is the opening. I use wide elastic to make two wraps for around the keyboard. And voila, we can put the fabric under the keyboard when he is playing. And when we go on the road or they are going to stay at grandpas he can take it with him without it getting damaged.

My customer loved it, so in a break of appx. 10 minutes from my work or the home schooling, i made this. I think it worked out well without a pattern.
