Time For A New Premier League Season

I've been playing Fantasy Premier League for 7 seasons now and it still remains a good way to follow the progress of the league. You need to stay at least a little up to date with the fixtures and the player form, player movements etc to put a competitive score.

The introduction of weekly prizes also helps to sustain the interest when the inevitable falling down the league rankings happen. To put up top scores, you really need to stay on top of things and have many lucky breaks. Anyway, here's my team for week 1:

I've gone for a different approach to my usual selection process where I normally pick players from only the big teams. This time, I've included Spurs and Leeds players as I think they will over-perform, while Liverpool will have a slow start.

The Premier League starts tonight with Arsenal vs Coventry. Remember to get your team registered before the deadline because you don't want to start the season at a disadvantage.

Good Luck This season!

Fantasy Football never really appealed to me until I tried Sorare, which was interesting because players you own actually have value and can be sold. However, the fact that each season a ton of new cards are printed just puts a constant pressure on the price and most are only worth a fraction of what it used to be years ago. That said, I still enjoy very much filling in my lineups and the lottery feeling that a lucky week could give a nice prize.

Also it kind of make the league more enjoyable to watch and helps me to get a better grip on individual players.

That's really interesting to hear because I wanted to get into sorare when it first launched in the height of NFT-mania. The printing of a ton new cards seems to be a problem plaguing pretty much all NFT projects. I hope we'll see some of these NFT projects fix their economics.
