Tucan en Bioparque Temaiken / Tucan in Temaiken Biopark

Del paseo que hemos hecho al Bioparqe Temaiken considero que las fotos del sector de las aves, son de las mejores que he tomado. En esta oportunidad comparto con ustedes las delTucán común (lo resalto por que hay más de una especie de este ave), la cual nos pareció una de las más lindas y atrapantes que pudimos observar durante el paseo. De colores muy llamativos y unos ojos azules únicos.

From the walk we have made to Bioparqe Temaiken, I consider that the photos of the bird sector are the best I have taken. On this occasion I share with you those of the common Toucan (I highlight it because there is more than one species of this bird), which we found one of the most beautiful and captivating that we could observe during the walk. Very bright colors and unique blue eyes.

Esta elegante ave habita las selvas húmedas de América del Sur desde la tropical Guayanas hasta Bolivia, Paraguay y Argentina, donde podemos encontrarlo en la selva misionera.

Lo podemos encontrar en las selvas húmedas y selvas de galería (las que crecen a orillas de los ríos). Es el más grande y el más distribuido (geográficamente hablando) de todos los tucanes.

Presenta un color negro con un babero blanco que contrasta con su cara amarilla con párpados azules, zona anal roja y su rabadilla blanca, su pico grande 22,5 cm de largo, de un llamativo color amarillo rojizo con la punta de su maxilar negro, lo mismo que en su inserción; tiene en su interior el mismo color reluciente que en el exterior.
