When I saw the theme for Neoxian City Week 8 was vacation, memories of my most recent vacation at the Divi Little Beach Resort in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten instantly came to mind.

Sigh!

This was the very first evening after a long day of international traveling, we checked into the room, grabbed swimsuits, found the nearest pool & hot tub, each ordered a grownup drink, and chillaxed! Sums things up perfectly, wouldn't you agree?!

I included this bonus photo so you can see the textures of the soft granules of sand at the gorgeous beach.

Thanks, Jerry! You owe it to yourself to have a vacation at least once a year. A change of scenery, the excitement of an adventure and overall experience is therapy for the mind, body and soul. Where would you travel to first? @jerrytsuseer

G'morning @ninahaskin, when I say "vacation" I mean go somewhere that
Is not a family trip, a reunion/wedding/funeral. Not going somewhere to
Work.
To go somewhere that I won't have to worry about food, cleaning up,
Where I can lay around by a pool if I choose, or go sight seeing.
ONE of my dreams is to explore ancient ruins, like Chichen Itza or
Ankor Wat or even to emigrate somewhere like New Zealand.
I would love to travel Europe, especially Iceland and Scandinavia.

Beautiful shot with the martini 🍸. I visited St. Marteen, another paradise island in the Caribbean. I hope you took many beautiful pics, the landscape is spectacular there.

Did you know Sint Maarten and Saint Martin are actually the same island? One side is the French side while the other is the Dutch side!
