There are two types of people in this world....when it comes to money

I have a hard time “spending” money sometimes. Some people have a terrible habit of spending money for no reason. They simply spend it just to spend it with no real motive behind their intended actions. I can’t do that. I don’t go shopping or go surfing the web to find things I “need,” when in reality, they are probably just things I “want.” This, to me, is a waste of hard earned money.

I would rather invest $100 into something that I feel can potentially make me a lot of money one day. I have no troubles at all “spending” $100 dollars on an investment. I very easily can stomach this decision, even if the $100 becomes $50, losing 50% of it’s original value. The reason being is because most investments, in my eyes, will always head back to their ATH. Not all investments can you bank on in this regard; however, most quality investments will hit ATHs and then some if they are truly backed by something substantive (take @spinvest's SP investments club as prime example - S/O to @silverstackeruk for this awesome investment opportunity on the STEEM blockchain).

OK- sorry to rant, but I generally try to scope out quality investments and seek buy opportunities when the time is right. Steemit, for instance, is a wonderful place to learn and share investment ideas. Most of the people here have a solid grasp on the vast world of investing. Most everyone here also has a different mindset than “normal” folks. We tend to think the current way will be a way of the past in 5-10-15 years, while most everyone else likely doesn’t even know what crypto, blockchain, or STEEM even is.

I have invested a ton of money into different assets that I think have a chance to make me some money. If they all end up going to zero, which is very unlikely to happen, then I will stomach this loss since I have not invested more than I am willing to lose. If all of my (crypto) investments were to hit an ATH sometime in the future, then my current crypto hodlings would be worth roughly $98,400. Now this number isn't 100 percent accurate because I didn't actually do the BTC conversion factors at the prices I bought them at in relation to their current BTC values. I simply used USD price values for ease of calculation and for simple illustration purposes this post was intended to portray.

Not everything will hit ATHs, and some tokens may even far surpass previous ATHs, but we simply do not know what the future holds. This is the exciting part about investing.

I don’t care one bit that my current hodlings are worth a measly $3700. And, for the record, I didn't even include some hodlings like the Byteball or AVINOC airdrops I received a while back or the recent steem-engine tokens like SPI that I have been religiously stacking (S/O to @spinvest again!) The previous figure is what makes me want to continue investing. I know some projects will likely fail, that’s just the nature of this space. But I know damn well projects like STEEM, SPI, ADA, TRX, DGB, SC, BAT, XLM, XRP, XEM etc., that I have a nice stake in, will be worth something someday. I don’t care if it’s 20 years from now either. The fact of the matter is that I'm in early, even though I missed the first wave, I'm still early. We all are.

It's a good feeling knowing this, too. The key to investing is catching trends, and I can honestly say I think we are all onto a major trend that is set to change the way the future unfolds.

Well, it's good feeling to know that we're early. But you are way more advanced than me 😅 . pst, when I look at the title and the illustration of this post, I thought two kind of people were those who like to use cash and those use credit card. 😅

Hahahaha putu, yes, I can see how you thought this!! I guess my interpolation was that those who use “credit cards” like to spend money lol

And those that are holding “cash” in their hands are the ones who are smart and invest their money to (in hope) make more MONEY!!!!

It’s good to see you, my friend :))
