Sea promontory

Hello to all dear friends.
Since yesterday I am on vacation on an island in the Gulf of Naples.

I won't tell you anything else, because the island is wonderful and deserves a couple of detailed posts.

I only tell you that for those who love nature, the sea and painting is just the right place.

I started with a watercolor from the beach where I went to bathe.

I state that the day without sun, as you can see from the photographs, was not very suitable for the subject.

I painted with clear and clear colors as this really beautiful place by the sea is.

I share some passages of the watercolor painting.

I painted in a very uncomfortable position, sitting on the sand and without a tripod.

A very beautiful promontory and rich in vegetation, thanks to the fertile soil of the volcanic island.

Promontorio di mare

Ciao a tutti cari amici.
Da ieri sono in vacanza su un isola del golfo di Napoli.

Non vi dico altro, perchè l'isola è meravigliosa e merita un paio di post approfonditi.

Vi dico soltanto che per chi ama la natura, il mare e la pittura è proprio il posto giusto.

Ho cominciato con un acquarello dalla spiaggia dove sono stato a fare il bagno.

Premetto che la giornata senza sole, come potete evincere dalle fotografie, non è stata molto adatta al soggetto.

Ho dipinto con colori limpidi e chiari così come è in realtà questo splendido posto di mare.

Un promontorio molto bello e ricco di vegetazione, per merito del terreno fertile dell'isola vulcanica.

Condivido alcuni passaggi del dipinto ad acquarello.

Ho dipinto in posizione molto scomoda, seduto sulla sabbia e senza cavalletto.

Spero che il risultato finale vi piaccia e che vi faccia venire la voglia di leggere i prossimi post sull'isola.
