My pyrography works: Caught the sun. repost

52x 57cm, pyrography (burning on wood), acrylic paint and colored pencils. 2019. This is clearly seen in the main photo, but in this work the narrow strip at the edge looks different than the rest of the piece. There, the wood was stained with something, so the coloring with pencils is not as bright as elsewhere.

At first I drew the image with a pencil. Then I burned the image on wood. After that I added colors with acrylic paint and colored pencils. Once this piece was finished I added a double layer of varnish- for protection and a bit of a shine effect.
