How do assets perform during major Sabre Rattling?

I try to stay neutral with my political beliefs as this blockchain is full of patriots from 'either side'. It's not that I am afraid to share my beliefs; it's just that I have enough experience to know that you either talk to 'your' crowd, or against the other crowd where where 'words' just go in the ear and out the other.

So rather than focusing on politicization I wanted to focus on what many here originally came for; crypto and other interesting assets.

We all know Oil, Gold, and Silver do pretty well when something unstable happens. Oil is a given as it is needed during war-time. Gold and Silver is of course something that is heavily manipulated but does eventually catch up with inflation. It is a hard asset to HODL.

If you bought Gold 20 years ago you have been up over 1200% !

I bought some in 2009 which was a great bargain even at the time. Those who knock gold don't really know anything about it.

Now Crypto is a lot more un-predictable in terms of speculation; but there isn't much data to support theories on how it will perform during war-time. Gold vs Crypto I am actually seeing different benefits and downfalls. As you can see the charts for both assets look pretty interesting. Note how TETHER is the only 'crypto' in the RED considering it is dealing with $USD.

BTC is UP over 4% with the sabre rattling while gold and silver are matching at 1.66%

From our limited data it would seem Crypto is more a money 'saver' during major sabre-rattling. The questions are this:

Would a farmer request payment in CRYPTO, or GOLD/SILVER?

If you needed to flee for your life what would be better; a hard wallet or gold coins / silver.

One is 'archaic' while the other is dependent on electricity and technology. Sure there is PEER-2-PEER; but what is more psychologically more recognized? I won't take a major position but I think you get my point.

What say you? What would you prefer? Reliance on technology; or a payment system used for thousands of years with data. Perhaps Crypto will be the 'new' gold. However I will say BTC is NOT well recognized by the general population. It's still a much smaller market cap compared to precious metals.

Just keep in mind many people are also under the illusion of paper money and are un-educated as well. That education also unfortunately doesn't include crypto.

Hope you liked my little write up. It's important!

I think if war breaks out, gold silver and cryptos will moon.
