I have pooled in a record amount of STEEM into STEEM-CITY; a game created by @gerber. I'm currently sitting on the top 10; but I think it will be short lived once other Steem players start to join.

The premise is to build a functional city that requires different factors in order to produce the SE token SIM. SIM as I know for the time being is pegged at 0.005 STEEM each. 800 tokens = 4 STEEM and each card is 4 STEEM. This is not a game for STEEM noobies as 4 STEEM is difficult to acquire.

Three factors are important:

1. Population
2. Income (SIM)
3. Popularity

There are also ties to different SE tokens which is quite ingenious. For instance you have events you can initiate called BEER fest and it costs 5 BEER with a cool down every few days. This can reward you with extra popularity and workers have a chance of joining your city.

I'm sure WEED fest and other Tribe tokens can and will be integrated in the future.

As far as I know, Gerber just doesn't sleep. He is always around for support. The market place is incredibly fast and efficient where you can sell or buy the cards you need. There are no more issues with NFT and sending to the wrong account (through the WEB UI).

I once mistakenly misspelled an account name and sent my card to the wrong address. Gerber in less then a second created the account for me to re-acquire the lost card. He has taken issue with this from the standard NFT market and created his own where this error cannot happen.

These cards were 'created' by me just as a virtual representation. They are not officialy part of the game. It was just something I was tinkering at.

Rules:

Population
How many People living in your City

Income:

How much SIM tokens you earning daily

Popularity:

Bonus to Population, 100 = 10%
Homeless/Immigrants
There is 2%-50% chance ( based on popularity) to receive Homeless / Immigrants card (+population -popularity)

Workers
To receive income from building you need to have enough people(population) to work there

Crime rate
Going up with high population and with every homeless/immigrants, reduced with Police Station, Gym, Cinema

Crime
With high crime rate your Bank or Shopping Mall can get robbed and you will lose some income( less SIM distributed to you )

Rewards
There are 2 reward pools:

SIM tokens
You earning SIM tokens daily based in your city income, you can sell them on SE or buy more cards with it

STEEM reward pool
50% from card sells and posts rewards goes to steem pool, 10% of that is distributed weekly based on top100 ranking by population

I am loving this game and I truly think it has awesome potential.
