Tether Shifts Focus From Bitcon To Ethereum

Ah good old Tether in the news again. This time the stable coin has been shifting its focus away from bitcoin and instead moving it into Ethereum. This move has started to congest the Ethereum network which is still working on scaling the blockchain which is due early 2020.

With this move Ethereum has made note they are looking into way to improve the blockchain sooner. The first is to raise the gas fees. Simply put this means everyone pays higher so they start to care a little more about how they use the space on the chain to maximize efficiency.

This also increases the fees and allows for an upwards 25% increase of usage this also means miners of Ethereum could in theory start earning 20%-25% more Ethereum by mining.

We saw this heavy in 2017 when fees for bitcoin skyrocketed. The price of transactions ended up getting high and as a miner you saw some rather nice fee incomes by being a miner.

The other thing to note is the decrease in value of bitcoin lately which is also starting to hammer altcoins. However Ethereum out of them all has been holding steady or increasing in value.

Perhaps we really are on the start of a real flippening finally. Based on Bitcoin simply never going to change and ethereum with continued backing, development and support it makes Ethereum a very smart investor standpoint.
