New Beginnings

I have not been active lately that much. I used to post daily but having a job and a three year old takes time for the more important things in life. Also I am a big fan of FIFA on the PS4 so I spend September to January busy playing that. Videogames you say? Yep I was a big fan of kicking back and playing the grand Theft Autos and the final fantasys. These games are like films and I do really enjoy them. They were always a big part of my life and then I gave them up. I gave up a few things, playing guitar, going to gigs, and boozing. I just didn't have time anymore for those things. But a funny thing happened. I started getting stressed about little things. I realised that all these little things relax me in a hogh pressure job. Even going for drinks is a major stress reliever so my wife kicks me out to go to the pub sometimes. Most wifes are doing the opposite. So when the job gets stressful coming up to Christmas I always buy FIFA new release and that gets me through to Christmas all mellow and happy. Isn't that mad? So I have less time to post. Anyway the new beginnings title.Another reason why I have not posted in a while. I got a new job. For the first time ever I am working in my home town. I always had at least an hours commute but I received a phone call recently asking me would I come for a chat. The local shopping centre back home needed an experienced manager to run the centre. This centre is around 100 metres from my doorstep so I nearly bit their hand off. So on the 16th December I start in the role.
So for the first time ever I am out of first line retail and into facilities management. I am really excited. My current employers are not very happy but its just business. Having no commute will be some difference to my worklife balance so I cant wait. I may even get to post more. So its all good form this side.

Good to hear you’ll post more but even better to hear you have a new job closer to your home. The hone-work traffic is killing! I hope everything works out the best for you ;) good luck!

That's great. Happily I've never had to commute to work but when I'm out cycling I see the miserable faces of the people stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Life's too short.
